So...Bioware...no compensation?

I contact EA tech support, they give me one. Of course, that's another 15 minutes of my life.
So, the question is this: No compensation? When WoW and other online games went down, we at least got a free day. But ME3? Forget that! We won't even clearly communicate with everyone about what is going on, just post vague comments about the problem being fixed "sometime."
Really? This is how you treat your customers? Of course, I know what you are going to argue, along with your fanboys: Well, multiplayer is free! What are you complaining about?
Actually, no, it's not free. It's part of the 59.99 I paid for this game. My playing it, along with thousands of others, keeps people with too much money on their hands spinning the roulette wheel of your store system via Bioware points. So, no, it's not free. Keeping customers happy and people playing is critical to your business model.
Since this is true, take a lesson from business: Own up to your mistake and pay for it. Compensate us. Give us (who suffered and can document it via case id numbers) 5 extra commendation packs. If that's a no go, how about the credits I would have made if I was able to play. Let's call it an even 1,000,000 credits...
Of course, why am I bothering. This will be greeted with silence from Bioware as well.

Considering MP in ME3 is free, you shouldn't expect any compensation. In fact I would go as far as to say they could (and probably will at some point) just discontinue the MP and there is nothing you can do about it.

If you cant cope with not playing a game for 2 days, then you have far more problems than not getting compensation.

Yes, I know Bioware fanboy, that there is no monthly fee. This game's multiplayer is based on a different business model. Here, Bioware makes money by ginning up excitement, getting lots of people to pay the $59.99 entrance fee, and making money on the store. I (and you) are part of the process. We play. Others play with us. Others want to have a nice gun. Others pay real money for Bioware points. Bioware makes more money than if they charged a monthly subscription fee because they are selling the desire for an associated digital good.
Therefore, it is in Bioware's interest to keep us fat and happy, playing and playing and playing all the time so more people get their happy time on and go and purchase Bioware points so that they, too, can have that widow x. Get the picture?
Of course, Bioware fails this point because a lot of us are not fat and happy. We're (or at least I) am pissed. I am simply asking them to give me recompense so I can glide back into the retarded coma of multiplayer bliss.

Also I find it sad that it seems all your life seems to be is Mass Effect 3. Don't you have friends, famaly, or even at least other games?

That said, offering up a complimentary spectre pack or something as compensation doesn't actually cost EA anything, and it's a good way of earning back some good will *shrugs*

You "suffered" because you couldn't play your game for 48 hours?

And Bioware suffers for compensating me for the incovenience of being locked out of a product I paid for? I'm asking for a non-existent, digital good.

No to mention the fact that this latest glitch locked us out of not only multiplayer, but single player as well. You know, that whole $59.99 we paid and all...

I doubt there will be compensation, I see no reason for it actually. No online game can, or does promise 24/7 access and bug free play. By your logic, they have already paid for thier mistake by not being able to sell points for 2 days.
Also, i do not know how long you have been playing online games, but a company will never be able to keep all it's customers fat and happy.

They also included a discount code for the Origin store, but since I'll not be buying EA or Bioware again, it won't be of much use. I'd rather they would just fix the issue.

I love how you immediately label someone who shows you an opposing viewpoint a "Bioware fanboy". Soooo...what, if someone doesn't see you as greedy for demanding some sort of compensation because you were temporarily inconvenienced, they're a tool for the game company they support? If I didn't already dismiss you for your sense of entitlement, that would've negated your argument. You don't have to be dedicated to Bioware to consider this rampant mentality around here of "Gimme that, it's MINE!!!" reprehensible.

So, having values like, oh, I don't know, "I paid for something, therefore I am entitled to access it" precludes one from having children? Actually, I would think holding others accountable for their failures, or having others even acknowledge their failures, is actually a moral good.
