I responded to you in another post when you spammed this drivel. Please, if you don't know law, don't quote it. The difference between digital good and physical good exists in law. I've not asked for a physical good (refund/exchange/monetary payment). I'm asking for a digital good as an act of good will from Bioware. In fact, the whole point of the post is that it is a rant asking for acknowledgement from Bioware. I've not invoked any legal warranties, I have not submitted a claim before a court, and thus, your post is kind of pointless.

Like many who have posted on this forum, I was locked out of multiplayer/singleplayer for 48 hours. When I finally got back into the game I bought and should have been able to play (single player at least), I notice that I didn't even get the commendation pack for my part in Exorcist.

I contact EA tech support, they give me one. Of course, that's another 15 minutes of my life.

So, the question is this: No compensation? When WoW and other online games went down, we at least got a free day. But ME3? Forget that! We won't even clearly communicate with everyone about what is going on, just post vague comments about the problem being fixed "sometime."

Really? This is how you treat your customers? Of course, I know what you are going to argue, along with your fanboys: Well, multiplayer is free! What are you complaining about?

Actually, no, it's not free. It's part of the 59.99 I paid for this game. My playing it, along with thousands of others, keeps people with too much money on their hands spinning the roulette wheel of your store system via Bioware points. So, no, it's not free. Keeping customers happy and people playing is critical to your business model.

Since this is true, take a lesson from business: Own up to your mistake and pay for it. Compensate us. Give us (who suffered and can document it via case id numbers) 5 extra commendation packs. If that's a no go, how about the credits I would have made if I was able to play. Let's call it an even 1,000,000 credits...

Of course, why am I bothering. This will be greeted with silence from Bioware as well.

Really? making this thread again? The other one already existed why not use that? I'll say again..

You're not paying a subscription for a service here. Extending the premium packs doesn't sound like a bad cookie to throw our way though, I'd say it sounds reasonable even.

Demanding anything else sounds like entitlement garbage though.

If the power goes out do you call up the energy company and demand compensation for the time you couldn't watch desperate house wives? No because you're not paying for the energy you're not using. They can't help that the system went down but they try their darndest to get it back as soon as possible.

You're not even paying a subscription fee here so you have even less ground to stand on.

Oh, and just in case you might not know:
I'm an American expat living in South Korea. The following clause applies to me (I bought it through Origin: South Korea).

SOME JURISDICTIONS
DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF OR LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OR THE LIMITATIONS ON THE APPLICABLE STATUTORY
RIGHTS OF A CONSUMER, SO SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS
AND LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

But then again, I'm..not..filing..suit. Oh, and given the vast number of European, Australian and other international gamers who have suffered from this problem, if they wanted to file suit, it could make for a real nice headache for Bioware. But, I digress...once again.

Oh, and where is my ban?

[smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/smile.png[/smilie] Multiplayer works again, and I just spoke with EA Live Help to get my commendation pack.

That's
the quickest chat I've ever had with EA support, took all of 30 seconds
to connect and two minutes or so to get my commendation pack added.

Important Note: For the Live Chat option to be enabled you may need do the following (I had to, from UK):
1) Go to: https://help.ea.com/contact-us
2) Click the "Log In To Your Account" button and sign in with your Origin email & password
3) Scroll to the bottom of the page, in the bottom right there is a "Country Selector" select United States
4) Product: Mass Effect 3 (choose your edition), Category: Technical Support, Platform: (Plaform)
5) Click the Live Chat button and wait to be connected

Changing the country to United States instead of United Kingdom is what enables the Live Chat option for me.

When you're connected to a support rep, simply explain something along the following:

"Hello,
I participated in Operation Exorcist on (platform) and did not receive
my commendation pack reward. I appreciate there have been server issues
recently and it was mentioned on the BioWare social network that if I
spoke with you that it cold be added to my account for me."

They may ask you a few more questions, but a few minutes later you should have your shiny commendation pack.

Got the Hurricane I this time personally, which means the only one I'm missing is the Valiant that I was hoping for.
Oh well, maybe next time. Good luck!

This guy!

Don't
use the stupid Origin Help at the top of your Origin Beta launcher go
to the website.  Had my ticket answered in less then 30sec and took the
service guy closer to 10mins to open up all the packs.

You are now ready to chat with Mahendra.
Mahendra: Thanks for contacting EA Help! My name is Mahendra how may I help you?
Mahendra: Hello, how are you?
you: Oh hello sorry
you: no sound or pop up
Mahendra: It's okay.

you: Yeah no problem

Mahendra: Please check your free gift now.
you: holy crap
you: Thank you!
Mahendra: It's my pleasure to help you out today.

It would be fantastic if you could fill that out for me.

Actually, I read a very similar post before I contacted EA tech about the commendation pack I earned that I didn't receive.  I was actually nice, followed everything with thank you, etc.. No pack for me. I'm not saying I don't believe you, I'm just saying it's not universal

Do it again.

All that really needs to be said is,

As pointed out in a previous post, what is it with you youngsters and flight towards mediocrity? Is being derivative that fun? Lemmings are real, not just a cute cartoon.

What would I rather do? Copy an IMG tagged link from my Photobucket account, or waste time typing out some response to your incessant dribble?

Lemmings? I don't understand what you're blathering about now.

Google it...bro...you're good at that. Something about massive numbers of mammals and migration...

Something that Disney faked to "make something interesting happen."

I still don't understand what you're blathering about.

I'm..not..making..a..legal..argument. I..have..not..filed..suit. I..am..asking..for..goodwill..from..Bioware.

Oh, and where is that ban?

They......don't....owe....you....anything.......

This includes your idea of a goodwill gesture. If it bothers you so much, get a refund and get on with your existance.

Honestly, I actually feel bad for trolling you now. I understand what you are saying. Also, did you read the post about me not being in the US and how those clauses don't apply to me?

I don't want a refund. I've enjoyed ME3 (minus the ending/lack of rpg in single player/multiplayer deployment fiascos). I'm just fed up with Bioware's crap. I've followed this company ever since Baldur's Gate, and the way that they have handled the deployment of this game just saddens me. If you actually read any of the official posts concerning how they responded to criticism from fans, you can clearly see between the lines that their ego has trumped their passion for making games. They can't even apologize in a clear, concise way. Instead, we get gobblety ****** about "listening to the fans," but standing by their "artistic vision."

I'm actually/probably going to stop playing this game. In fact, I'm kinda done with Bioware (at least that's the way I feel now). The whole point I've been making is that I would like a little acknowledgment and recompense. Make me feel like Bioware is as loyal to me as I have been to them. You know, like I'm a valued customer...

OMG...bro. Lemmings aren't fake. They are real. The fact that Disney made some sort of movie about them doesn't negate their reality. Come on Digital Bubble Boy, did you at least google lemmings?
