Well, compare Anya or Sam in size to EDI, Miranda, or Samara and the point still stands.

Which point? Yours that Gears doesn't have oversexualized females? Valid, but that wasn't what they were talking about...

I think the inspiration for the male characters was chemically based. Ster...I mean vitamins.

Well, it's what the thread was about, so if they were going off-topic, then I was trying to guide them back. Re-railing the thread like the good little forumite I am.

The treatment of the male characters appearances was so different to most female characters.

Bigger Moobs and smaller codpieces. Pretty restrictive for the old daddy bags. I wondered if they used a certain Mr Cowell as their inspiration?

...Pretty soon as to not break with tradition, the ladies are gonna have it all: bigger ta tas, bigger moobs, bigger booty, bigger daddy bags.

I miss the days when Metroid was considered scandalous.

With regard to don't pay attention... How can you not? Sexy sexy to a point, but then it just becomes an annoying distraction.

And, yes, sex sells, but wasn't the ME franchise doing just fine without the... upgrades?

And seriously. What about the dudes I mentioned? If sex sells, then why are all the guys eunuchs?

To be honest, the only character where I really feel they've gone overboard with the boobage is Miranda. But then Miranda's just raw sex appeal in general. I actually think that that would've been an interesting type of character if they'd explored that better: she's beautiful and hot, but she doesn't necessarily want to be. Unfortunately Bioware only skims the surface of her personality in favour of ass shots.

Beyond that I must admit I never paid that much attention to boobs in this game. Liara is quite well endowed, true, but what other female characters are there where it really stands out? I must say I haven't really seen them.

Being 42, married for 20 years it has been my experience that the worse the game, movie,tv,or gentle mens club, the bigger the boobs get. And yes the gow chick is sexy.
Gow got it right with the uniform, mass effect got it wrong from the get go.As a vet i can tell you from experience that you do not want any of your uniform tight, it cuts down on your mobility and the amount of "extra" things you can carry above stock.

I don't think I've even looked at any of the chesticles in the game long enough to notice a difference.

Are you implying that my typical behaviour on the BSN has ever been anything other than exemplary? I'm offended, I truly am.

Quite, all hail the squidface!

Anyway, I was merely making an offhand comment at how ME seems to want to draw many things from Gears. Also, like was mentioned, bigger =/= oversexualised. Just because the women aren't 'bigger', doesn't mean the men aren't neckless McBeefbody.

I would LOVE. to see one of the male characters in a body hugging spandex unitard. Oh man. Better yet. All of em. Including Legion. That might even redeem the disappointing conclusion to the trilogy.

ETA: Perhaps some glittery pasties to switch things up?

No amount of fan disappointment over the ending can outweigh the Garrus bromance. Garrus won't allow it.

Why not use real medieval armour designs as inspiration? Most had really exaggerated Codpiece designs. The ME male armours, ouch that's gotta hurt

Excuse me but isn't this James? Running around in his skintight t-shirt all game? I know guys at the local gym who are literally just like him and they have no shortage of shallow women fawning over their bodies.

Eeee. Spikes? How about codpieces with big fat red arrows pointing at it?

Hahaha! Yeah, but the unitard completes the look... with sparkles of course.

Why not kilts to flap in the breeze? Would it be a more satisfying game if you could paint Shepard's face blue and he goes around in a shielded kilt screaming about freedom?

Edit: "They may reap our societies, but they can never reap our ASSets!"

Oh my goodness :o - thanks for that visual. With kneesocks too.

ETA: Can I just say, looking at male Shepard on the right side of my screen right now... that EDI is more well endowed...down there... than male Shepard? Something's very wrong with that.

Joker's got it rough, that's for sure. Not only could he break his junk, but he'd break it using a hyper-intelligent sextoy. Do you think Citadel Souvenirs might have a brace to go along with each copy of Fornax?

Edit: As much material that Joker had, Chakwas probably got tired of resetting his wrists.

we might as well have hot ladies in the game. It is fantasy and if we want to look at realistic mediocre women, reality has enough of those. The only ones I thought were weird are Liara's as not only did they seem to get bigger, but they seemed to be more spread out and shaped like pecs. Ashley's I was just like "oh, that is what they look like when not crushed into her armor". I didn't mind as Ashley's body is very close to what I would consider ideal.

a lot of the other NPC women like the dancers either had small ones or average ones. The only bewbs I didn't like were in that hideous dress Allers wears. I so LMFAO at this vid where hers grow...OP if you haven't seen this and the bewbage bothers you, this should make you laugh. it is at 0:30 into the vid after the Miranda butt quip.

That might actually be one of the most hilarious videos I've seen on Mass Effect.
