this is not a big deal to me at all. i mean i noticed the enhancements of the girls from game to game, but i never thought "oohhh BEWBS and BUTTS yeah. BONER!!!"

i thought mirandas sex appeal in ME2 was just part of miranda. but im into cute butts, and hot brunettes. maybe it they were emphasizing it on a krogan, id have problems.

I agree that liara, ashley and femshep got their boobs boosted for the final war against reapers!
Also i agree that edi is oversexualized, and miranda and samara had big boobs from beginning.

BUT: in many videogames there's only one version of female body and they just change the face, and the result is that EVERY female from 18 to 75 have huge boobs!!!

In ME2 & 3 we have a bunch of characters with their own bodies, and this is good.
Also Samara boobs are way different from Miranda ones. And we have jack/tali/kasumi with regular/small boobs. All good things.

What i find REALLY disturbing are the clothes. I can imagine a girl wear skimpy clothes while on the normandy, expecially if the normandy belongs to cerberus (ME2). Damn, kelly even brought on the ship a dancer's outfit!!!!

But descending into planets with 2g gravititational pulls, 3atm sulfurus acid atmsphere, a presumibly lethal level of radiations, and all of this while taking gunfire - dressed in the same skimpy clothes with high heels and a partial face mask!!!!! That really broke my immersion.

I am male, i like boobs, but i would so prefear to see my female team mates descending into planets with heavy armor and helmets (ME1 Style).

They would be even sexier when i return to the damned normandy.

OP although I think you're being over observate, all the over the top and well done figure designs of the male and female human characters in Mass Effect come with playing a modern HD graphic console with an M rated label.  

10 years ago the same argument could have been said about Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore on PS2,

or 17 years ago about Mortal Kombat 3's stronger focus on busty-fit male and female fighters in that game. 

All these games are M-rated and they all were released on hardware that was cutting edge for their time.

and you could make the same points that previous or similar games didn't have much detail on breast, quads, etc. well those games probably weren't that successful either.

Their Ta Tas must have been enhanced with mass effect fields. Thinking about it, if Liara's breasts get any bigger she's going to have her own orbit, and Shepard is going to be the moon orbiting it.

Hate to say it, games mostly played and made by men, men like boobs. I understand why it bothers you though. Personally I was much more upset about Ashley's personality make over then her physical one, though they did kind of go hand in hand.

As far as Liara goes seems like as asari get older the boobs get bigger?? Don't Ken and Gabby even talk about this fact?

In my head cannon is that they change there image somewhat with mental projection depending on who is looking at them, so after Liara see's Miranda in the crew in ME2 and since she is so desperate for Shepard she decides to project bigger boobs.

As for Maranda I believe some of the camera shots and such are done as a kind of satire on video game vixens in general.

By the way even in ME1 which I have just started replaying the first shot of Matriarch Benezia is of her semi-exposed breastestis.

Are you saying that ME 1 and 2 weren't successful? My observation is the enlargement and upscaling of importance since then. Not that they exist. I was also observing that whilst the ladies received upgraded ta tas, the males received downgraded packages. It would just be refreshing to see a little consistency, eh? I'm not anti boob! (as I've said repeatedly in this thread)

Funny, but I was actually thinking the same thing. So much so, that my renegade (who romanced Kaidan/Thane/Kaidan) ran right past her on my last playthrough and never said goodbye, just in case her "gift" was Shepard's baby, without Shepard's consent.

It's actually rather funny, since there were really adult love scenes in ME1 (tasteful, but definitely adult), but when ME2 rolled around with so many chicks dressed like street-walkers, they all did it with their clothes on. I guess bewbs must sell games, but only when encased in futuristic spandex.

For my own personal preference with the man pixels, I far preferred the build in ME1, to the uber muscular thing going on in ME3. I almost didn't recognize Kaidan when he had his shirt off, and Vega is just massive. Whatever though, it doesn't bug me enough to rage.

...off topic... That reminds me: I was laughing to tears during the supposedly emotional moment when Thane is on his deathbed after surgery still wearing his impeccably clean badass assassin outfit.

By the way... many people are making the proper observation that not all the ladies got their ta tas upgraded, so I must concede that I may have embellished a tad. But the general theme still stands.

Oh, and I keep meaning to mention I'm really diggin that Gears of War getup. Very snappy. I may have to venture into that game.
