Grab the acorn from the hermit, and go to the talking poet-tree. Then go back to the wall, and kazap!

I take it you've killed all the werewolves? From what I've read, they should respawn or something...

Werewolf skins drop off any of the many werewolves you have to fight while in the forest.

Have you checked the corpse of the talking tree, there should be a branch to dispel the wall

buy back the skin from where you sold it.

i heard the tavern guy in redcliffe has some too, dunno if thats true tho

You should have received many werewolf skins if you slew all of them. Did you sell the skins somewhere? Go buy one of them back.

You don't put on wolfskin. The Grand Oak's bark is what you need.

See the old hermit he has the acorn the grand oak wants when all is said and done this path will give your mage a pretty good staff.

There's more than one way to skin a cat, or a wolf in this case... the alternative method of completing this quest does require a werewolf pelt. I'd venture the OP sold his to the vendor at the Dalish camp, or at the party campsite; shouldn't be too difficult to get one back.

Reload an earlier save before you killed the Great Oak and do his quest instead.

Problems with my screenshots.
I now have zero screenshots uploaded to my on-line profile yet when I try to upload one I get this message: " Your online profile has reached the maximum number of files allowed by the server" ... there aren't any there???
I have plenty of screenshots I'm just not able to upload them. Since they upload one at a time my total number of sceenshots can't be the problem. How can I access my screenshots other than thru the online set up, which isn't working?

You can get past the barrier without killing the tree or the hermit if you're so inclined.

i have checked all the stores and i did not found the skins so now:

i've killed the tree
and i've killed al the werewolfs and i dont have the skins.

Reload an earlier saved game and DON'T kill the tree this time.

You can travel between brecillian outskirts and brecillian forest on the map until you get werewolf random encounter and get some skins off those.

There are random encounters and you can buy back any pelts you may have sold. Hell I'm sure there's a place to buy them.

Wherever you sold them!!

Vendors usually keep anything you sell to them, so check every vendor you've been to in the game and see if any of them have the pelts, you might get lucky.
