I'm **** at multiplayer..always finish 4th sometimes 3rd, but I don't care....I go to all the upload points try and revive my teammates... genraly blow stuff up and kill things and have a great time and that's what matters .... so there..my xbox name is opuscat if you see me in the lobby try not to laugh
I play Human Infiltrator with a sniper rifle and an SMG, and it's kind of the same for me as for you.
I'm not usually far behind, but I almost always finish 4:rd place. But someone has to finish last as well, right?
I do revive my teammates as quickly as I can though (the invisible doctor!), and when it comes to hacking those 4 objectives I usually hack them all faster than the wind, bringing the team some extra cash!

The most important thing is indeed to have fun. I've never been annoyed by other players for playing badly or for "stealing kills" (which is a ridiculous claim since the game isn't competitive and kill medals only gives you more XP which is easily accumulated anyway), the only time I can get somewhat annoyed is when team members are over-ambitious and run away by themselves and get killed (usually Vanguards...

). But I don't get upset about it, it's just a game and I just try to revive them as I know they (the Vanguards) can hold the line much better than I could ever do.
Having fun together with your team is what the game is about, isn't it?

I'm
new to MP. On other games I suck at MP. I thought I was doing pretty
good the first time I played...then, while waiting for the next
game/wave...I got booted by the other three people in the game.
How the hell am I supposed to get better if I get kicked out? That's more than a bit frustrating.
What
difficulty were you in: bronze, silver, or gold? If you're brand new
and pop into silver or gold, chances are you'll definitely get kicked as
those are harder difficulty levels. If new, get your feet wet in bronze
for a while, then creep up to silver. There is ZERO reason anybody
should be kicked from a bronze lobby, with two exceptions: 1. the person
just spent the last game crouched in a corner doing utterly nothing
(a.k.a. leeching) or 2. everyone else in the lobby is ready to start the
game, but one person appears to have been abducted by aliens/taking a
smoke break/otherwise holidng the game up for entirely too long.
Agree completely. I understand kicking people on silver or gold, but kicking on bronze is inexcusable.
