And why do we care what some unknown person thinks of the ending?

The point of this forum is for us to discuss things here, not to name-drop and think that makes one's point valid.

Interesting, and Ea's boss saying he only cares about opinions from people that make games seems to be something like that don't it?

Well, I don't like the endings, and my view is more valid than others, being the continual font of reason and logic that I am, so there we are.EternalAmbiguity wrote...

Nice job diverting the issue.
The point is, what makes this TotalBiscuit person's view more valid than anyone else's? Nothing.

Year's of experience as a gaming journalist, tons of contacts and direct knowledge from hundreds of game developers, of tons of different companies, and maybe his 240.000.000 youtube views have some importance and are there for a reason no?

I'm inclined to disagree, because in the end, what a journalist does is opinion, and with something like this (a creation), there's really no person more valid than another, other than other creators.
But nevermind I suppose, go ahead.

if you please take the time to watch the video, and discover that he actully watched it on youtube and went on to research the matter without buying the game, you might have something constructive to say

...Or at least something as constructive as the opinion of man who basis his opinion purely on the opinion of others, without ever experiencing the object of said opinion, which coincidentally is also why I hate unicorns.

All of these things, while surely important on their own, have no relevance whatsoever for the ability to objectively judge a narrative and have your judgment possess a pertinence in the same.
That would be like saying that since a person has, for example, 10 years of experience in rally that should be reason enough for the guy to have a somewhat relevant judgment on painting.
Expertize must be correlated to the thing you have experience upon to have some relevance.
