You do realize that it takes about fifteen seconds and an infintesmal amount of energy to do that, right? It's not that big an investment to make a point.

While I enjoyed his vid on day 1 DLC and the state of the industry. I saw the ending for myself and how much it sucked and failed.I don't really need his validation.

There is some irony in what he says in that video and the response some of the users are posting here about it (obviously without viewing it). Specifically, he does state why his opinion matters more than yours (the faceless viewer), but how it might not be as valid as. This is all in response to the quote about the guy at Bioware not listening to fans' opinions because they don't make games, and how wrong it is to base your value of the comment on the validity of the poster and not the validity of the comment.

You have a point.

However, this topic was not posted simply to add another opinion to the mix. It was posted because the OP put their value of the comment on the validity of the poster, judging from the thread title.

Yeah, I'm not sure why this topic was posted, especially since Totalbiscuit wasn't even discussing why he disliked the ending. He just mentioned it briefly. The topic for the first half of the video revolved around a fans' email question about TB's opinion of Paul Barnett's comment. It was just a snippet saying that he watched the endings on YouTube to see what all the fuss was about last month, and not being impressed.

I believe he already said (in prior posts) that he loved ME1, but hated the sequels. Smudboy's comments have been echoed repeatedly (especially the topics about how pointless ME2 was) in recent months. The only people I've seen complaining about him are the hardcore fanboys who can't get over the fact that someone dared to criticize the series.

And, as several other people who've criticized ME3's ending have mentioned, a nitpicky genre requires nitpicky criticism.

To me there is a difference between boycotting and not buying, to me a boycott is something that you refuse to have any interaction with on any level.  If he just said he wasn't going to buy it, then yes a YouTube video of the ending could have been valid, but he called for a boycott.

I'm sure he hates ME now. Two sequels hated doesn't make for a very good 'enjoyment factor' when you've only liked the first game. BUT! You have a point.

Thankfully it doesn't apply to me because I fully acknowledge critism of ME, and find very valid points here and there... but I hate nitpicking... unless it's from Yahtzee... because he's humorous about it.

It's funny because he justifies why his opinion matters in the actual video. Quite frankly, I can't stand the guy. But I decided to give it a watch simply because of the vitriol being spewed against him in ignorance here.
