Love that show.

I apologize, people. I was at school and working for the past several hours. I didn't realize my post would cause such...debate.
The simple fact is, if you accept the Catalyst's logic, the endings make sense. If you don't then they don't.
Thing is, there's no particular reason TO or NOT TO accept the logic, so we're at an impasse. That's what I meant by "there's no proof."
Sorry to revive this, but I didn't want to just vanish after so many replies.

Kinda proud, actually. I'm used to being Cassandra.

You're my hero of the hour right now. Can't say I like the endings, I found they lacked closure but then hey, it's only a game right? It's neither the be all nor end all of existence and will fade as soon as some other injustice rallies the fanboys to irrelevant spouting of pseudo-wartime slogans and fist shaking. Whatever makes you feel relevant.
Oh and The Big Bang Theory is terrible. 30 Rock slightly less so

And why do we care what some unknown person thinks of the ending?

Interesting, and Ea's boss saying he only cares about opinions from people that make games seems to be something like that don't it?
Nice job diverting the issue.
The point is, what makes this TotalBiscuit person's view more valid than anyone else's? Nothing.

Why should anyone here care for his opinion when he didn't even play the game? His is opinion is invalid he didn't even experience the game himself and is going off of youtube video and comments made by others. He doesn't even have any perspective at all for this game since he boycotted it. I didn't agree with his boycott mainly since his boycott made others pirate the game (I know he doesn't support it but unintentionally did by his viewers commenting on pirating the game), he could have got the game and didn't purchase Ashes dlc while still making his point, and he comes off as a total know it all who seems to jump the gun a lot even when he does research. I do enjoy most of his vids though just not any he has made on Mass Effect lately. If you are going to boycott something I don't think you should be able to comment on it afterward.
I didn't say he never had the right where did you get that in my post? You totally went a compeletly different direction with your post. I simply said I don't agree with anything he did or said about Bioware or Mass Effect IP. I suggested that he could have still purchased the game and not buy the dlc while still making his point. The only thing if anything I said that was negative in the long run to him is that his opinion on the game in general is invalid since he never played it and he is acting like he went through the whole experience when he just watched videos. I in general don't like how people put him on such a high pedestal and treat his word as law or that he some kind of journalistic apostle.Wildhide wrote...

I don't feel like he comes off as a know-it-all. He's opinionated, but that's different and part of his job.
His boycott was fine, the entire idea of this huge push for Day-One DLC to milk money off of consumers by not including the entirety of a game is growing fast and getting ridiculous. He has ever right to refuse to purchase games from a company that does that if he so desires. He also has every right to tell people he's doing it and suggest they do as well to discourage the practice by companies.
He's not the only one who agrees with the issues created by Day-One DLC. I read the same thing at Forbes all the time.

I value his opinion quite a bit more than yours. Thanks for asking.
