I am getting really tired of this same problem.

I just lost a total of 198000 credits from the stupid "One or more of your purchases has failed..." crap. This has happened before several other times in the past and if you're going to make packs so expensive like the premium spectre packs then you better refund credits or give us the packs that were lost. First premium spectre pack loss I was already pissed so I restarted the game since I know this issue has not been fixed yet and I just have to deal with it. Second premium spectre pack was lost after a round of Gold. Someone needs to address this and make it a priority. "Searching for outstanding purchases" does nothing except waste time it seems.

This can happen to people who spend Bioware points too so this is a very serious issue. First, an entire day lost due to the commendation pack/online pass fiasco and now this?

I have lost over a million packs to this, so I feel your pain. I'm not even a "hard core" player - I play AFTER I'm finished with work, school, husband duties for my wife, and playing with my children. It allows for about 2-3 hours a night, since everyone in my household is typically in bed by 10PM-11PM. I'm a "night owl".

I contacted Origin support on Tuesday, and "Pooja" stated that the matter would be escalated and I would contacted via email. I haven't heard a damned thing, so I think he lied. I think this, because most of the time when you have a support case open, they EMAIL YOU the case number. "Deepak" did not know what I was talking about when I asked him last night, either.

I've told Origin support that I am perfectly fine with getting back even half of the credits (740,000~). I mean seriously, even if you bought nothing but Specter packs, 1,000,000 credits is only 16 specter packs. 740,000 is only about 12 packs. Sure, I've purchased other packs, but it seems about a 60% rate of failure for the purchases.

I'm maxed on commons, and I think I'm just about done with uncommons. When I start my game, I typically run in and purchase a Recruit or Veteran pack to see if it works (losing 5k or 20k is better than 60k or 99k, right?). If it works, I'll go make a larger purchase. This is usually a good strategy, but I've ran into problems where, directly after purchasing a Premium Specter Pack and I go to buy another...I lose the 99k credits on the second.

And no, there were no items added - I record everything. I have 20 pages in my notebook that I scratch notes on for my game development needs, and all 20 pages (front/back, written in decently sized handwriting) are ME3 failed MP purcahses.

So yea...I feel your pain ;-(

Yeah so someone at Bioware needs to address this issue. I did a test with some Bioware points and the game ate it up without giving me my pack. Same "one or more purchases has failed" error. I contacted Origin Live chat and they took down my information but then told me I had no pending transactions and to contact Bioware and post on the forums. The Origin support tech was named Hitender and I have the entire chat log screenshotted in case anyone with official ability wants confirmation or see details. It also felt like the Origin support guy slammed hard on the end chat button giving me no time to respond (probably could really do nothing on his end). Here is his last response: "Hitender:
Please post your issue on game official forum.
Hitender:
Thank you for contacting and chatting with me. I do appreciate your time and have a great day!
The chat session has ended. Please contact us again if you need further help.
Chat session has ended."

So yeah, if he sees no purchases pending then thats a pretty big problem when it takes away from your balance that costs real money.

I've lost  320 bioware points and 252000  credits to this crap. I wish they'd fix it and give us our stuff back.

you can make a point, but don't lie about it. You haven't lost over a million packs. If you had the kind of money to get over one million packs, you'd have everything maxed out by now. *saw your manifest*

yeah you can support our argument, but when you lie like that, it just makes you sound like an idiot.

Yeah I spent 240 bioware points on the Premium spectre pack and got the same error. I restarted the game and bought it AGAIN thinking it wouldn't charge me cuz I have never even tried the multiplayer B4 today and I didn't know that you could buy the packs over and over again. So I was charged 240 points TWICE, but only given the gear ONCE. I tried that origin chat support and this is what went down:

Chandra: Thanks for contacting EA Help! My name is Chandra how may I help you?
you: Hello, thank you for being available so quickly.
you: I just started playing the ME3 multiplayer and I purchased the Premium Spectre pack for 240 bioware points...
you: but it didn't show me that I got anything for it
you: so I read on your website it said to close the game relaunch it so I did
you: it still didn't show me that I had any spectre gear, but it showed me missing the 240 points I had spent.
Chandra: Please provide me your email address and date of birth.
you: so I clicked "Buy" on the premium spectre gear again thinking it would give me the gear without charging me again but it charged me 240 bioware points again and this time gave me the gear. But I only got the gear once, even though I paid for it twice
you: I hope that makes sense
Chandra: Thank you for providing me the information. Would you mind holding for a couple of minutes while I fetch the relevant information?
you: sure
Chandra: Thank you.
Chandra: I'm still looking into your issue. Thanks for your patience.
you: it's okay, thank you. Take your time
Chandra: Thank you for waiting. I really appreciate your patience.
Chandra: I have checked your account and found that there is nothing wrong in billing, you have used what you have purchased.
you: no I haven't. If it shows that I was charged twice for 240 bioware points, then you can see that on my character via SOCIAL.BIOWARE.COM I only have redeemed the premium spectre gear once
you: I only have one special character and two rare guns and no other specials items
you: I saw how the game behaved when it worked the second time and I could see the new items appear in game. But the first time I paid 240 bioware points no new items were added and still no new items have been added.
you: I was charged twice but was it was only redeemed once. I'm not crazy, I'm not making this up. you can look at my Multiplayer character stats and see that this is the case.
Chandra: When you play the game it helps in your progress.
Chandra: if you have any issue, please post the issue to our developers and they would take care of the issue.
you: If you can't see my character items, if you don't have access to that, then I would appreciate it if you would believe me and just credit me back the bioware points, then you can log this and all the notes
Chandra: I am sorry but we are nothing can do in this case.
Chandra: Thank you for contacting EA. Is there anything else I can help you with today?
you: What good is it going to do for me to try to contact the developers??? You know that they can't do anything for me. The game wouldn't even redeem the FREE starter packs untill I restarted the game. This was even mentioned on your ea.com support site for ME3. But the problem was that before I had restarted the game, I had already spent 240 bioware points that didn't give me the items the same way the FREE starter and Victory packs wouldn't give me items.
you: YES there is something you can do in this case! you can credit me 240 bioware points back into my account and all will be right with the world.
you: That's all you have to do. I'm not asking you to contact the developers and research why this glitch occurs, clearly they are aware of this glitch as per their kbase article on the ez.com support site saying to restart the game.
you: I'm not asking you to fix whatever the initial cause to the glitch was, the glitch is gone because I restarted the game, but my items that I paid for are also gone.
you: Please just credit me back the money I spent on a product that I was never given. If you don't, then that means that EA stole that money from me. & I will have to waste more of my time and energy trying to talk to your supervisor, and his supervisor until someone makes it right.
Chandra: Please post this issue on the froum
you: Please just credit me my stinking $3 back.
you: I don't even know which forum, where it is, or how to do that. I don't want to know how to do that. That's my time and energy being wasted. Why can't you or your supervisor just credit my money back?
you: I've heard stories about how terrible origin support is but I just thought those were one-off situations but this just affirms there accusations.
you: their*
Chandra: I am sorry, we don't have the way to add it.
you: I was nice, polite, patient. And you are giving me the runaround. Then have someone who CAN do it, call me
Chandra: You have used it.
Chandra: And it can not be refunded.
Chandra: No, I am sorry.
you: I DONT WANT A REFUND. I DID NOT USE IT, I WANT A CREDIT BECAUSE i WAS NOT GIVEN THE PRODUCT THAT i WAS CHARGED FOR.
Chandra: To be honest, we are not able to do anything in this regard.
Chandra: If you don't get the items, please post this issue on the Forum
you: You're game charged me and never gave me the items. If you don't have access to verify that, that's not my problem. You should be able to see my game profile and see that I did not recieve the Premium spectre gear twice, I only received one set. but I paid for it twice and should've received it twice. Do you even know how it works? It gives you random special items from a list of possible items. It always gives you a certain amount of items, its just random which items you get. I whould have gotten double the amount of items if I was charged twice, which I was, but I did not receive double the items.
Chandra: so that they can take a look into this issue.
you: can you at least give me the correct URL of where I need to go to do that?
Chandra: at : http://social.biowar.../1/subindex/102
Chandra: Thank you for contacting EA. Is there anything else I can help you with today?
you: Yeah, which one of the forums on that page should I add this to? Or do I need to create a whole new one?
Chandra: Please login with the same account.
Chandra: You can create new account as well.
Chandra: Is there anything else I can help you with today?
you: no
Chandra: If you need help with anything else, please feel free to contact us anytime!
Chandra: have a great day
Chandra: bye

Paying for stuff you never got? i'd consider fileing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau - https://www.bbb.org/...int/get-started

I would never accept posting on a public forum as a solution to that sort of issue, what can the community do for you and your missing bioware points? LOL their support.

Chandra lied to you bluntly they can credit your account points that is within their realm of ability(i know that for a fact).

it looks like he/she just didn't believe you and wrote you off.

You should ask for a copy of their Billing information, it should show where you bought Bioware points, and when you spent them.  However I'm not sure if their actually able to tell what items you got from those packs or should of gotten.  So just because it reads that you got a pack, don't mean you actually got the items from it - one can only hope that it contains that much detailed information and a methodical in-depth look at your account would show the issue.

It would almost have to contain information from every item you've ever gotten or used in game though to show where your missing stuff, if its falsely reading you got "phantom" items that you never did.

there is a reason why this game is widely called Glitch Effect 3, and Mass Defect 3...  I can easily believe that it ripped you off like that.

Your credits are not gone, you just dont get to see whats in the pack. I once had a bug like that, but after the restart, my Widow IX was no longer IX but X. Check your equipment before and after the restart next time.

Oh, and in response to DanerKnerd. I checked my Multiplayer Manifest (right here in this website) after each failed purchase and did not see "at least 2 rare items" appear like the premium pack says. Not upgrades to existing rares or new rares that I can find. Now if what you are saying is true, and somehow I'm just completely missing it, then it's EA's job to fix the game to when the next time you restart the game it shows the graphic "PREMIUM SPECTRE PACK" with the picture of the big arms case, followed by the detailed list of cruddy unnoticeable items that I apparently got when the game gave me the error during the purchase. That way I can know that the purchase went through. Because I find it a lame coincidence that every time a premium purchase fails, maybe I do or don't get a handful of cruddy unnoticeable items and I don't get any good rares. But yet almost every time that it doesn't error out, I do get awesome items.

Personally, I find it bizarre that I haven't heard of this issue once on the Xbox 360. Within a day or two on the PC version, another game-chat player told me to beware of purchasing different packs - back out to the main Multiplayer menu, first, before buying, otherwise my packs might start disappearing. I'd never had the issue before, so I disregarded this strange warning and voila! I didn't keep a full count, but I think I've lost about 1,600 BioWare points ($20) to packs that do this.

Honestly, the issues with this are so vast, I don't doubt BioWare is overwhelmed and is having to hide their customer service under an umbrella of policies and red tape that allow them to not fritter away the thousands of dollars being lost in this system via case-by-case scenarios. I don't blame 'em, working in customer service myself.

Honestly, if I could suggest anything, it would be the option to disable purchasing the various packs with BioWare points after sending out a mass email notification to the billing emails, and a pre-multiplayer pop-up clarifying, "We know there's issues. We're workin' on them! Purchase player packs with credits at your own risk, but the use of BioWare points to purchase player packs will be disabled beginning Sunday the blah blah blah of blah blah blah month of 2012 until the issue is resolved."

Just my two cents. I've gone back to Xbox 'til the problem stops on PC.

Lost credits for two Spectre packs in the last 2 days. Both chat support people said, "Don't worry."

Today when I was disconnected, Chat locked up, so I couldn't advise my companion players. Had to restart Origin and the game. Seems to happen more frequently on weekends. Origin DRM or EA servers.

It's even more annoying when the error message implies that 'I have lost the connection', when it's EA that's the problem.
