Im all for Bioware taking their time making a great game but with improved tech, i hope it dosen't take them years to finish development. Heres hoping late this year maybe early feb-march 2013?

If they are still only figuring out the story/characters/etc, then I don't see it being so soon. Personally, I'm thinking sometime next year, possibly the end of next year.

They could make it for the old generation consoles, or make it for the new generation. Both have good and bad points.
Making it for the current gen means a big but crowded market.
Making it for the next gen means an uncrowded but much smaller market.
The ammount of meh titles that sell on release day in large numbers makes that quite an attractive prospect as well as all the free advertising.

If they actually going to give it a good development cycle this time then it should be late 2013 or early 2014. Wouldn't surprise me to see it at the end of this year though to be honest.

Because I expect there to be pressure from the EA bosses, I would guess it will be early 2013, mid 2013 at the latest.
What I would prefer is early to mid 2014. And if it is not done exactly the way they want it...take as much time as they need. Most fans will forgive a company that delays release of a game to "get it right". They are not as forgiving if they put out a rushed, slipshod game, just to get their money.

Well, they usually reveal the game 6 months before release, so if they Reveal in June, then that game would come out right in time for... oh idk, the biggest shopping time of the year? (The holidays)

I hope it will be released when it's the game the devellopers want it to be, not because a date is set for them. Allthough advanced technology is mentioned it would really surprise me if it was this year. Not to mention it would make me feel.................hesitant.

Blizzard has a schedule. They just don't share it with fans. They consistently release a game a year or a game every two years.

Started the sentence with "I hope....." with the reason that having a date set allready can have the potential of leading to a disaster. If BW releases it when they think it's ready (as in how they want it to be) this reduces that possibily IMHO.

They announced Command and Conquer: generals 2 well in advance. Don't remember the release date but it was more than six months in advance of that game so it could be hopefully a longer period. I'm thinking summer of 2014.

Deadlines don't exist just for profit maximization, discipline and aims are important in any project. Without schedules very few things would ever get done. Regardless, I do hope that EA gives Bioware ample time to actually finish their work with proper final touches. My guess is spring 2013 and my wish is 2013 holiday season.

I know they like releasing games in the beginning of the year now (Jan - ME2, March - DA2 and ME3) but they should not release DA3 at the beginning of next year, that's way too early. That'd be about a year of development time and that's nowhere near enough. End of 2013 is the earliest I think. March 2014 seems good.

Though not allowing the people making the game be able to say "We really need another few months" is also probably a recipe for disaster.

I personally think mid 2015 is a bit extreme, even for someone who wasn't the game to be awesome. I would think that it would probably be Q4 2013, and would hope so. It's most likely in my opinion. Both for EA's desire for the earliest deadline possible and that I want it to come relatively early, while still with more time.
Q4 2012 would be a slap in the face. Unless it's awesome, in which case I'd bow at their feet and gain renewed confidence in them.

I still say early 2013 would be the best time. Waiting 2 years for a damn game won't make it awesome.Look at the Final Fantasys and Duke Nukem or whatever it's called.
