I expect Q1 or Q2 of 2013. Any later and they are going to be running up against the next-generation of consoles that will undoubtedly launch in late 2013. Alternatively, DA3 could be designed for the next gen and released in Q1 or Q2 of 2014.

Seeing as they've told us that they haven't decided enough on game CONCEPTS to show them to us, Q1 2013 is laughable.

The earliest I think they could get away with is Fall 2013, although preferably sometime in 2014. Any earlier and it's going to be a rushed mess like DA2 and ME3. I have no problem waiting for a game as long as its really good.

I would release the game the same date as DAO in 2013. I would start the pre-order process in the summer of 2013. The most important thing is keep us informed as gamers on the development; however, not giving the story of the character way.

I dont care how long it takes so long as we PC users dont have to put up with a crappy game that was clearly designed to work on "limited" consoles make it a PC priority so we can see what can really be done then downgrade it for console users

I prefer my consoles; faster loading, better graphics and mods arent worth me playing a game on my keyboard hate me all you want but it is not fair to talk down to people who play on consoles. I dig a controller, a bigscreen and lounging on my couch. The PC market is also the limited market. Remember that consoles outsells the PC by far. We all have our preferences better to not start this argument. They would lose money in doing that. Facts are facts.

Anyway, console or not console, I'd say March 2013 (because fiscal year and all). I have no idea if that's too soon, since I don't know where they're at, development-wise. For all we know, they could have started months ago and kept quiet about it, or not. DAO was done in five years, from scratch. The Next Thing has a lot of the work done already, setting-wise. So it depends how many changes from DA2, and how deep those changes go, I guess.

See it's because of people like you that we won't be seeing any more DA2 DLCs. DA2 was a good game but I can already see that you are the Skyrim type of fan so anything you say here will not matter.

What an assh*** comment . Make it an PC priority ??? You people have the Whicther or whatever it's called . And that it all you need . DA3 should be console only and only then they can take all the time they need.

I really don't like waiting , but DA2 suffered too much from short cuts (and IMHO ME3 too).
I remember finishing DA2 and thinking "if only they have worked more time on it"...
So i'd rather wait , because unpolished product is frustating for the customer and for the developper as well...
Besides if DA3 'd sell badly , who know it might be the end of the franchise...and that would suck.

Sorry but I loathe people like you. The I WANT IT AND I WANT IT NOW generation of kiddies annoys me to no end. Do you really have nothing more going on in your life other than dragon age games? Really? The wait will be worth it in the end and when it eventually comes out you will be glad you did.
NEWSFLASH: Nobody likes waiting. But its worth it in the end.
That said I still expect EA to bring out the next sub-par product at the end of this year or early 2013.
