I ended it with her early in the game(1st treaty), and am on in the middle of Arl of Redcliffe(before Haven), and Morrigan is making me choose between Leliana and her..
This is stupid and weird because she calls me "What comes, friend?" and I can't bed/kiss her. So we're not in a romantic, but she asks me to choose between her and Leliana nonetheless. So I choose Leliana, and I lose 25 approval, and now she just says "What is your wish?".... Is this a bug or what?
Why is Morrigan making me choose between Leliana or her when I'm only friends with her?

Make sure you check the label on your Approval rating and not just the number. The label changes even though the number may be the same. She might have been "Interested". That's enough for a woman to get jealous sometimes (and Zevran).

How do I check approval rating for the console version? there's no number even, it's just the slider.

Hmm. Dunno about that. We just mouse over the bar in the PC version. We've seen that there are different types of approval for the same level of approval.

I actually had that happen. Right after Landsmeet where my PC got engaged, Zevran and Leliana were both like "wtf". Other than the toon-specific gifts (flower and gloves), I didn't flirt with either of them.

Happened to me too. Especially after I quite officially refused her "cold tent" proposal.

Heh. Gotta watch them gifts. I had Leliana at Adore without ever approaching her with anything other than friendly banter. That quickly changed to Neutral when I had to tell her that she was mistaken (though her approval dropped only 10 points and was still way up there).

Funny thing though, even when they ask you to choose and you dump them, there's nothing stopping you from further rafting pursuing both rivers, as it were.
I ended up with Morrigan having fallen in love with me making the Dark Ritual hard on both of us, and Leliana being my companion paramour in the epilogue in my search for Morrigan (well at least that's how I interpret it when the game says we had further adventures and I said I wanted to look for my kid and the mother).

You have to be really damn careful with the dialogue options so that the magical 'romance' switch doesn't get turned on. You have already lost the game if Morrigan even mentions the temperature of her tent, same thing with Leiliana and her astrological banter.
They're crazy women who misinterpit everything and can't tell the difference between a jokes, compliments and attraction.
Fairly sure Zevran only gets jealous ( or well... 'concerned' about the other person involved... ) if one really make an effort pursuing him and actually boink him. Well, the others are likely to get concerned about Zevran way early on though
