In all honesty I don't even know why the Turian fleet was worth so little in the first place. They're arguably the best military force in the galaxy. It seems like they intentionally cut down the turian assets.
SPECULATIONS

Cuz if they fix it then you aren't forced to play their MP, then you won't have to buy all their useless app games and then you won't have to stay logged into EA server. The whole purpose of galactic readiness is so Bioware can squeeze some money anyway.
Sad because it's true. That's why I think nothing will be done.
- I'm trying to hold the line until the EC is released, but all of the bulls*** is beginning to get to me.

One way to fix this is by increasing the Turian War Assets to 800+ instead of the current 500-600 they are worth.

All of the Council races contribute too little in the way of war assets. The Salarians are the worst off.

I'm sure you know that the turian fleet was raped at the beginning. Pretty much all of the galaxies fleets were on the verge of anihilation during the game so I think it was caculated quite well

"WTF am I doing?? Uh uh!"
I've played all three games as SP. I've grown accustom to using the pause/play style when playing ME. And now, all of a sudden I have to change my tactics while playing in this different modes? Its uncomfortable and I feel like a jackass.
Then the percentage goes down ywhen ou don't play?? Regardless if the Xbox is online or not?? Hell naw. That's going to far.

Yes you can get the best ending. BioWare consider "Synthesis" to be the perfect/best ending. Thus Destroy / Shepard alive is just **** and we are dumb to think it is the best.
We figured the same thing, when this whole issue began 2 months ago...
... but it has since been debunked by various EA/Bioware official posts on these forums and via Private Messages.
I have some myself.
They have explicitly said that the 'breath' destroy ending is the highest achievable ending and that is what they refer to when they talk about being able to get it without multiplayer.
Yes, they have told us... repeatedly... that they are able to get the breath scene in their own games.
They have told us they can even get higher than 5000 EMS in their own playthroughs..... that's 10000 war assets before the cerberus base.
Never mind the fact that those many war assets don't even exist, even if you somehow added up every single war asset available (even mutually exclusive ones). Even if you do that, you get barely more than 8000 points of war assets.
Yet they say they aren't playing the 'Bioware Complete Edition', as they so sarcastically put it..... *head desk*
EDIT: And again... do they not realize how troublesome this will be when the Extended Cut comes out?
Not only will we be in even more of a foul mood.... but it's common sense that the multiplayer population will decline for various reasons..... and what is the one ending which will interest the most people?
You guessed it! The one they can't get without multiplayer! *sigh*

Honestly all the endings are exactly the same. 5000 EMS is needed to get the best ending but the difference between 4000 and 5000 is incredibly miniscule. As there will be no direct sequel to me3, just watch the endings on youtube.
Not to give away spoilers.... but those 20 "miniscule" seconds have a huge significance to many people, which will be made even more significant when it is 'expanded and clarified' with the upcoming Extended Cut.
And watching endings on youtube isn't the point, clearly.
Why do I even bother buying games at all? Why not just watch them on youtube, or at a buddies house?
Honestly, the biggest issue with me is one of trust.
I trusted them to be truthful with me. I was one of the fans that was worried about the Multiplayer impact on Single Player... but I was willing to give MP the benefit of the doubt, and I trusted Bioware when they told me it was entirely optional and would not lock out Single Player content.... so long as I didn't skip quests and rush through the game.
Well, I and thousands like me did full imports and did every quest, scanned every planet, and accomplished peace between races at impossible odds.... so we deserve what was promised!
If they acknowledged the issue right away, or even a month later after MUCH research was done by the community (including examining the actual game code).... they could have earned that trust back.
But two months later and this is how we are being treated?
Sorry EA/Bioware... you definitely lost a longtime 14+ year loyal fan over this.
DA2 couldn't do it, TOR couldn't do it, and even the (IMHO) horrible ending to ME3 couldn't do it...
...but this? Sorry, this fanboy has to draw the line somewhere.

Mutltiplayer content is more profitable than single player content.
I'm calling it now: The Single player game will have less DLC content than Mass Effect 2 did.
Yeah this will be true. However me1 only had 2 dlcs and honestly pinnacle station wasn't very interesting. Me3 single player is already lacking in dlc. The resurgence dlc didn't implement the weapons into sp I was pretty dissapointed. I hope the release more sp dlc but on the other hand, I like the multiplayer events and stuff.

The quality of that extra scene is irrelevant. I've posted this a few times, and I'll keep on posting it until the matter is resolved one way (fixed) or the other (Bioware confirm they won't fix it).
Its not just about the ME3 scene. Its about whether or not this is a "feature" that you'd like to see in future games. Anyone who does not like the fact that accessing singleplayer content is dependant on playing multiplayer, or an external app, has a responsibility to speak up and complain. Don't just think "well that scene isn't very good so it doesn't matter". It DOES matter.
If Bioware get the impression that this situation is acceptable to the fans, they WILL do it again. But maybe next time they expand on it. Maybe next time the restricted content is a 10 minute long scene that is significantly different from all the other endings. Maybe next time they make it so you have to grind multiplayer for 10 hours to unlock a companion. Maybe next time they make it so you have to beat a map in multiplayer, to unlock a singleplayer mission on the same map.
If we wait to complain until the restricted content IS important, its already too late.

A pre-release statement from a BioWare employee claimed "all endings" attanable through single-player gameplay, not only the "best ending".

Ravennus, I have no idea why you're complaining, your multiplayer manifest and galaxy at war says you're doing quite well tbh
My enjoyment of multiplayer (which is rapidly dwindling, btw) is completely irrelevent to the matter at hand.
EDIT: I wasn't going to bother explaining further, as the reasons many of us are upset should be quite obvious at this point (yes, even those of us that actually play multiplayer), but I'll just re-post something I said in another thread....

I actually like Multiplayer as well, but that's not the point.
Hell, when the Extended Cut is finally released I probably will have long moved on from Multiplayer, so does that mean I don't deserve the highest achievable ending even though I imported, completed every quest, scanned every planet, and handled every situation as ideal as possible?
What about those who don't have an internet connection, or even a reliable one?
What about those who don't want to pay for Xbox Live?
What about those that don't like multiplayer, even after giving it a try?
What about when the servers are shut down?
What all the promises that were made pre-release?
This could have been a minor issue that they easily (and happily) resolved to our thanks and satisfaction... oh, a month and a half ago.
Instead, they decided to handle the situation so poorly that they've lost future costumers because of it. So sad.

They still state this in the FAQ on the ME site. So it's not even restricted to claiming what they said back then, but can easy be pointed to as something they still say.

I will say it again if MP or Apps were required to access any part of the SP game, no matter how small/short, it should have been stated open and honestly by Bioware on release of the game - then I as a customer could have made an informed decision on what I was buying. Instead Bioware stated all endings were obtainable with SP only - which they aren't.
So Bioware when are you going to fix this for us, and supply us all with the game we purchased?
