I don't believe it affects me, personally.

That doesn't stop me from knowing that it's wrong, and reporting those people, or telling them why they shouldn't be cheating in the first place.

Then don't cheat....and if you need to get your sanctimonious vibe on....snitch/preach away.

Hardly "disgusting"... this is a video game after all. Your behaviour in a game certainly doesn't scale to real life, I think we can all agree on that. If people want to cheat (specifically the credit glitch is what I'm talking about), who cares? I've never been effected by someone cheating, even if I knew they were. They have better weapons and more credits than I do, whoopty doo. They didn't steal my first-born. Now, altering matches for other players (by, say, altering your own weapon stats/hacking to do more damage or whatever), thats a different story. But someone credit glitching does NOT effect your game, and any argument that suggests otherwise just seems like another way of saying "boohoo, theyre beating me and it isnt fair, waaah," and I doubt I'll be convinced otherwise on that. If someone's actions only effect themselves, I can't really be too hard against it.

I am sure you are a great person, but if you came into my place of business, and handed me a resume', and included this post on it, I wouldn't hire you.

there's nothing we can do to get rid of cheaters thats the reality, as long as video games exist...cheaters will be there...

but on a game like this where you battle an AI and not other ppl and when you can get the same amount of credits from doing nothing as from doing everything...i see cheating pretty pointless...

although i can agree on the fact the Bioware nerfing weapons and powers that ppl decide to cheat, cuz some of those nerfs have ruined weapons completely....in the end is all Bioware and EA's fault...

Yes, the store system is stupid and wrong. That doesn't make the cheaters right.  Conversly, the cheaters don't make the store system right.  It's still stupid and wrong.   Are we clear?

This logic, I can get behind.

All I really want is for repeat character cards to be taken out of the store. After that, I could give less than two craps about the randomness.

This is my favorite post in this thread.

Complaints about cheating aren't a plea for attention. They're meant to be informative and, in some cases, persuasive.

Informative to who?  There are already standard channels for informing bioware.  And it's obvious they don't read the forums beyond that or don't care. (Otherwise, they would do something about the store system).

Do people really need to read a thread to realize that being invulnerable, having infinite ammo, quad  damage  or playing the same wave over and over is a cheat/glith?  I think most players are more intellignet than that. Threads about cheat arnit' informative. Everyone I've seen it was obvious to the post what was going on, and they weren't pre informed by some thread.

And when someone is persuaded by an argument they read on the internet....that will the first time.

They are a a plea for attention.

The big problem I see with cheating is that if they ever add a pvp system to the game(don't kid your self, if EA wants to keep up the microtransaction cash flow it will happen) the cheaters will have an immediate advantage even if the exploits are fixed, simply due to having more credits than normal players.

Pvp won't happen. You have to be crazy to think it will. It MIGHT happen in a new game, don't expect any sort of pvp in mass effect 3. There are still major balance issues to be fixed, and even more importantly, major bugs. Not to mention, they would also have to do a complete overhaul of their network for the sake of balance. It would be way too much work to add in a game mode like that.

It is utter impossible to add PvP to this game. The amount of changes required would make it basicly a whole new game.

The only way it possibly happens is as a pay DLC and then there will be segmeted communitys and everyon in the new communicty will be reset anyway.

You two woefully underestimate EA's greed. Microtranasctions are a proven cash cow, many 'free to play' games make more money in microtransactions than they ever could selling subscriptions. If they revamp the store system pvp could easily pay for its self in increased store revenue.

We should just add a button in the game to give you unlimited credits.

Because it clearly doesn't affect the game at all for people who choose not to press this button.

Yeah, as long as they aren't breaking the rules, I absolutely agree.

Of course not, that would be harming someone else.
