That zombie mode does look hella fun. To hell with balancing it, load everyone up with falcons and fight for your life.

Hehe.

Going to make it challenging enough to justify credit gain at extraction at least (: Plus a version with "boss enemies" (Banshee, Brute, Phantom).

They should totally start working on an official version of this for Halloween release. Add zombified brutes for boss mobs. If xbox/ps3 can't handle the lag/fps with that many enemies then use less husks but make them stronger(quadruple health and double movement speed).

It's like with Skyrim... PC version gets hi-res pack AND mod store. Deeper gameplay is always on the PC.

Hmm, I think an AJ would completely invalidate this mod. Area Reave + Warp Bubble = husks? what husks?

Why I don't regret buying ME3 for the XBox instead of the PC:

Origin.

But how else am I supposed to beat the Store system?

Buying something from the store is your reward for playing and having fun, not the reason to play.  If you don't understand this, it's for the best that you bought the xbox version.

Okay, that's a bit harsh. I'm playing the way I enjoy, whether that's to get something nice to use, or to play with some friends, is completely my opinion. That being said, I do quite enjoy the many games I play be it bronze to gold, speed running to farming, and I stand by my original statement's intent as to the store system's faults.

You tell me not to be just a tiny bit sarcastic, when I still to this day have yet to unlock a Turian Sentinel. (I'm not even asking for a damn Black Widow I or a Javelin I, which I also lack)

And don't just blatantly bundle Xbox players together. I chose to play on the Xbox, simply because I can't afford to buy a computer with the specs to handle many modern day games. Does that make me terrible for doing so? Am I instantly warped back to a prepubescent stage of my life? The whole insinuation that Xbox players are less than X or Y is completely irrelevant to whether or not I have fun playing the games I do.

If you are trying to "beat the store" you aren't playing the way you enjoy, you aren't really playing at all.  You don't play the lottery despite what the ads might say.  You don't try and "beat the lottery".

If you have been buying veteran packs that is unfortunate.  If you have been buying anything else, that is expected.

I'll stop bundling xbox players together just as soon as these forums are no longer clogged with entitled console players who seem to be more concerned with getting some sort of reward than actually playing the game.  I used to keep an open mind but then I learned that few of these players were playing on the pc.  Of course pc players have their own common faults, it's not as though I'm terribly complimentary to them either.

As for the rest of your response, I didn't say anything about you except that it is perhaps good that you were playing on the xbox.  You should stick to what you read rather than trying to find insinuations in statements that aren't being subtle in the least... it's starting to look like you might be projecting.

I hate to break it to you but the zombie mod would get old really fast. Do you really not comprehend how boring it would become after the initial first few matches?? a zombie mod to have any lasting appeal needs more variation than ''30 husks wave 1'' and ''60 husks wave 2'' and so on. And I'm sure it would be quite a joy to use the space bar (instead of the A button) over a thousand times in a random match.

But you're absolutely right. You should sell your xbox version and buy the pc version. (sarcasm)

Od3at wrote...

Xbox has all the social flair to it, they said. You'll have so much fun they said.

Then, I look to the PC gamers, with all their fancy mods. Namely:
The Zombie Mod

Now I'm sure I'm not the first one to come across and think "Hey! That looks great! Maybe I'll post this to the forums and someone on the dev team will consider!"

But that doesn't change how freaking awesome it looked at 3:07

Seriously now, how many of you would love to have this? Or at least the prospective of something fresh to do, instead of sitting on GWG farming away for that wonderful chance at some spectactularly rare N7 drop?

I'm not expecting anything, but a part of me still hopes it could happen. But I digress, PC players get to have all the fun.

I'll be over in my little Xbox sandbox, green with envy.

Edit: Come now, this thread was made to promote an idea, not berate me for dabbling into GWG. I'm not going to pretend like I don't do it, but try to consider the possibility that it's not the only thing I play on ME3. If you dislike it that much, look to another thread please.

Yup because upgrading my recently purchased PC just to be able to play the game at more than 5 fps is such a bonus! PC elitism is quite annoying. I'll upgrade for Diablo 3 since it's an exclusive but I sure won't be playing with a keyboard for ME3 multiplayer. I'll stick to my console version which is what these games are primarily designed for anyway.

Forgive the impertinence, but how recent is "recently"?

I am running the game just fine on my four year old laptop. Seems to me the only way you had to upgrade any contemporary PC that was not a solely working station if it was consisting of a case only.

Yup and i'll go scour the extranet looking for a half decent version for a few hours. No thanks.

The fact that this zombie mod is the ''best thing'' that has occured regarding the ME3 modding community shows how irrelevant ME3 modding really is. Apparantly no one is creative enough or willing to put in the effort to come up with anything more interesting than small variations on this simplistic formula.

You get the Elder Scrolls MMO, while all I get is Halo 4. I want a gaming PC.

Two years ago. Includes 8 gigs of ram. AMD Phenom II X4 830 Processor 2.80Ghz. but ooie lookie here. The graphics card isn't up to snuff. Lets spend another 100-150 bucks just so I can run ME3 at reasonable settings. Current gen consoles may be getting old but the fact that ME3 can run so well on xbox 360/ps3 shows that these consoles were build to last. It took at least a few years for high spec consumer grade pcs to catch up. The same thing will happen when the next xbox and ps4 arrive.

There is nothing wrong with enjoying PC gaming. I most likely wil be upgrading for Diablo 3 and possibly try another game later in the year but I will not suddenly turn into a PC elitist who tries to poop on console gamers any chance they get. And lets face it that happens heck of a lot. Perhaps it has to do with how they try to further justify their own expenditures or perhaps the bitterness of how so many games are designed with consoles in mind first and PC 2nd. Otherwise why doesn't ME3 PC have higher res textures and higher polygon models/environments? The answer is very clear.

Have you seen the backlash against Elder Scrolls MMO? It's not exactly looking good. The article showcases a very generic World of Warcraft clone. I was interested until I actually read it.

Is your recent purchase a 10-year-old secondhand computer, or a netbook not designed for gaming? Because my 5-year-old laptop can run ME3 at far more than 5 fps.

I run ME3 on a 3-year-old school-issued laptop, lol. Even on the lowest settings, I have to keep it on a bag of frozen vegetables just to keep my graphics card from spazzing out.

Because it is not the same genre as the main elder scrolls games. It's a standard WOW type MMO set in the Elder Scrolls world. The gameinformer article was leaked you can google.

Even if it turns out to be a WoW clone, that doesn't change the fact that WoW itself is also exclusive to PC.

PC players also have better reload cancelling.  And better controls.  So there's that.
