Short psychology comment here:

I think it's now safe to say that anyone who posts on this forum defending credit exploiting by saying "It doesn't affect you so why do you care" is actually a cheater themselves.

There are probably many honest, legit players who are indifferent to the cheating thing don't really care, but I can't for the life of me find a good reason why an honest player who doesn't cheat would come on the forums and publicly defend cheating.

It's not even some sort of free speech/human rights thing which applies to many crimes IRL; it's simple bug exploiting.

Really, can you honest players think of a single reason why you would spend hours playing to finally reach the accomplishment of getting a N7 weapon, and publicly spend effort support someone who cheats and gets it in 1/10th the time?

Therefore, it's safe (99% sure?) to say that anyone posting with that sort of comment is actually a cheater themselves.

TL;DR: There's absolutely no reason a player would defend cheaters and cheating in game if they weren't a cheater themselves. Just my observation reading these posts.

If someone is credit glitching I report them in every way possible via XBL & BSN.

Well if they didn't want to get raped, they shouldn't have dressed that way! It's not my fault they make it so easy to do. My serial raping doesn't affect anyone in the community in any way. You have no right to tell me not to rape whenever I want to, you're just jealous that you don't get to go raping.

Edit: No I'm not a serial rapist, I just don't think you people should be telling people not to rape others.

Edit2: OMG what a bunch of ignorant children, flaming me for defending rapists. and I already said I don't rape anyone. I used to but I stopped.

I was going to tone it down to "robbing convenience stores", but it just didn't quite have the same ridiculousness and history of idiotic arguments to it.

Couldn't you post this in one of the other five billion (it seems like) topics related to this, instead of making a new one?  I mean hell, I've seen like half a dozen of these stupid topics today alone, including another thread about exploiting made 3 minutes before this one...

I think you should be banned for trying to ban people who are making counter arguments about the reason someone should be banned.

I've never credit glitched or farmed fb:w/g/g but my roommate does. I don't care, I like to play the game and it doesn't affect me in any way shape or form.

Buying packs with MS points/RL money is just as much cheating.

I'm not complaining about exploiting. I'm trying to understand if it's possible that an honest player would staunchly support cheating. I personally do not think it is possible, but welcome such a player to explain that to me.

It's just a psychology question. I'm fairly good at putting myself in others' shoes, but can't really figure this one out.

Also, I'm doing the community a service by letting people figure out who the cheaters are.

I've never seen anyone actively defending them. All the posts I've seen, including my own were basically "Who cares? Leave them alone."

Though I must confess... I love the **** out of Ballistic Blade's Cone upgrade, and do not make any effort to avoid it. I'm a bug/"unintended feature" exploiter.

Why would anyone in their right mind read past a title if it was about Credit Glitching or FBWGG?

Agreed. I have strong feelings on the subject too, but damn if people aren't just blowing up ever since Bioware took an official stance on it. It's becoming the new "Black Widow VS Valiant" thread.

It's just a psychology question. I'm fairly good at putting myself in others' shoes, but can't really figure this one out.

Also, I'm doing the community a service by letting people figure out who the cheaters are.

So we'll discuss psych which leads to the conclusion based on what you've said and how you've said it, that you're not actually good at "putting yourself in other people's shoes" and bring to light that the point of this thread is that you're trying to soothe some personal issues by doing something you feel is meaningful.

I can understand why some people are sick of complaining threads, that's normal. However, if this is brought to the center of attention Bioware will be more likely to do something to make the game better. That is why these threads are being created.

Being sick of complaining threads is understandable, but totally different from saying something along the lines of "Stop trying to make the game better and let cheaters continue cheating!".
