Bioware has a dream...

Imoen:
A dream.  A dream of many things.  Of friends and family. These dreams always mean something...don't they?

[Entrance to Candlekeep]
Do you remember these doors? I remember... I think... Yes. This was my home for so long, but it is too late to go back. EA wouldn't have you now. EA wouldn't have me. Had no use... someone else. EA wants something... I... I don't know why. Those in the cowls don't even know... Why don't I know?

Do you remember Gorion? Or the others?

I think I do. Old School Bioware was... no... wait. Old School Bioware was the guidance, and there was much more to learn. But it's too late now. They are so far away... Old School Bioware are far away... too far away to help .

Memories should stay, shouldn't they? But EA digs deeper, pushes everything aside. I don't remember any of you.

Do you remember Sarevok?

He sought your death, and mine. It all seemed so important at the time, but... but I don't remember them at all.  EA is... EA is more dangerous... closer. I can feel it...

Do you remember Old School Bioware?  I... I can almost see... I want to, but... I... too late. Old School Bioware will come too late...

Imoen: [Petrification]

EAware:
She resists. She clings to her old, good Bioware games as though it actually matters. She will learn.

Imoen was great, a lot like Bethany. I just wish we could've busted Bethany out of that evil jail like we did for Imoen. Both were just super awesome characters though, maybe we can get another like them for DA3.

I don't really care for any of the companions in the Baldur's Gate games. Especially not Imoen. Why was I forced to spend so much money to try and save her from the mage gulag?

Baldur's Gate 1 wasn't exactly big on companions or companion dialogue (zero). Only Minsc was good and only because of the few things that he did say. Baldur's Gate 2 improved on that however. With that said I like the companions in Dragon Age: Origins much better than the companions in Baldur's Gate. Only Minsc rivals the companions of Dragon Age: Origins. He's just plain awesome.

I have to say Tiax was pretty freakin' hilarious in BG, also.

But, yes, Origins has probably had my favorite companions to date. Although I was quite fond of Valen in Hordes of the Underdark. And DA2 had Varric.
