Hey guys, my math shows me that it can actually be a little harder or more time-consuming to cheat your way into and through medical school than if you just study and learning how to actually practice medicine. So if you only care about getting a degree like I do, there's no reason to prevent cheating or academic dishonesty. The jobs/benefits/titles/money are all arbitrary, so you can't argue with my math. Case closed.

LOL at comparing playing a vid for entertainment to cheating through college.  WOW

TC, let me ask you a question. What does your N7 rating amount to in the end?

about as much as your worthless credits and guns.  ARBITRARY.

How, I just got a funcitonal new toy that I did not have before, how is that Arbitrary? Only about as Arbitrary as playing a video game, or posting on a developers forums in face of the bigger picture of your life. Or caring greatly about a number over considerably more tangible things.

Neither exist outside of the game, therefore they are equally arbitrary.  Your preference does not dictate what any other player seeks to gain from his experience.

THIS DEBATE IS ARBITRARY.

The human brain has been proven to be very bad at experiencing statistics and numbers. Finding actual new experiences in this game is definately much more pleasurable then leveling up.
The communitys consensus is against your arguement, it would be best to quit before this gets ugly. :bandit:

BTW This thread will be up for a LONG TIME. Simply wanting the truth to go away will not make it so. The star rating says it all.

Voting this thread up is an easy way to say "Fixing this glitch isn't popular"? You forget that taking a position that someone could have special interests in will net you support that is not at all honest.

The truth?

Am I supposed to be sad I have a lower N7 rating than someone else? Because I just see the difference as more time I've spent outside.

Huh. You asked just the person. I have an editor cookie.
Edit: There is not a YMMV section on it, it would be rather innapropriate to put on its main page. Worse, It coud zombify this thread even more.

Actually this thread will become a joke thread, hidden under the guise of a pointless argument born from some strange breed of nether-logic.

I always start out believing these threads are just an attempt at "trolling" by someone who doesn't quite grasp the entire concept (like a cat walking on its hind legs, or a chicken trying to fly), but I just don't know anymore. :(

It really is quite perplexing, I really don't see the TC's objective at all.

Well this has made for interesting reading. If it's a troll thread, then wp OP, you got everyone. If not, how can you possibly compare a meaningless number that is little more than a way of saying "look at me, I like to grind" to shiny new guns with which you can kill things ingame? And before the word "arbitary" is mentioned here, everything in this game is. You're posting on the forums of mass effect 3, so comparing the worth of an ingame gun or ingame number to anything outside of mass effect 3 is not a valid point.

Life is arbitrary. We are dust in the wind.

:P

EDIT: Sorry...just couldn't help but exaggerate the TC's use of the word "ARBITRARY."

Can you re-word that so I can put it in my signature? I want people to be able to laugh at it without having to see the context.

What we really need is a thread we can all go to, to discuss the twisted math/probable troll thread attacking the credit glitch complaint thread about cheating defense threads which attack credit glitch complaint threads. Anyone know a place?

So OP is saying legit gold runs and "CREDIT GLITCH" runs are basically the same in terms of XP, hence its alright? But the thing is, it's called CREDIT GLITCH (which I caps again). It isn't called XP glitch because players who do this, do it for the credits and not XP. As I've calculated, glitchers gain more than double the creds (check me on this one, actually maybe less because of the creds reward format on wave 6 and 10) in 1 hour than those who do legit runs.

You sure you're not defending yourself glitchers with this post?
