"Credits are arbitrary" is basically saying "money is arbitrary". Meanwhile, 3 credits > 1 credit.

Once the match starts, N7 rank means nothing. The only thing that can help you survive and win is your abilities (unaffected by N7 rank, and most people in Gold matches are lv20 already so XP doesn't matter either)... and your weapon. Weapon that you buy with credits. Credits that glitch exploiters get more of, so their performance is better and chances of survival higher.

If you play for N7 rank solely, feel free not to cheat.

I'm sure EA could give two shi*ts what you care is the standard.  They programmed the game, not you.  They have clearly made N7 rank the guage in which to judge progress in this MP.  Saying " I don't care about n7" does NOT change or dismiss that.  Silly

Umm it's called ---the truth about the "credit glitch".  The quotations were meant to point to the misnomer.  You are right, I would just call it a glitch.

LOL I will gladly submit my account for investigation.  I don't do it, but that doesn't proclude me from the conversation, especially since this is the first thread that actually lays out facts and math, rather than just conjecture and debate.

Sorry if I misjudged you. But I just don't like threads that justifies or reasons the use of the credit glitch or whatever form of cheating, no matter the facts, maths or any logic.

While you might lay out the math of how XP gain isn't that different with the glitch and legit way (or rather the glitch is slower), it is still an exploit by gaining more credits. True, players doing it for XP isn't going to make it faster for them. I'll say it again, players do it for the credits, hence it is called CREDIT glitch.

Inconvenient to abuse a glitch that doesn't get them higher on the leaderboards, to get higher on the leaderboards don't you think?

Why would they do that? They must be really unintelligent to do such a thing. 

Or is it because they want the credits? Surely, that can't be it.

My reasoning has gotten me to where you are, Credit glitchers are unintelligent people who fail at their goal to cheat their way to a higher rank. HA! I'm so much smarter.

I second this i personally run through gold with level one characters it has more so to do with how good your skills are as a player and how well your squad works together.

You cant be serious dude. When someone flashes thier epeen on the boards, where to people go to try and find something to tease them about............manifest. The credit glitcher makes a lot more credits faster, therefore they will have a better weapon selection faster, and if skill is equal, will have the weapon advantage in any match, until the legit player catches up.

this may not matter to you, but it matters to Bioware, and that is all you need to know.

Honestly, these discussions should be deleted, as the decision has been made on this matter, and there is really no reason to keep debating it. I could maybe see a petition thread to get the decision changed, but to continue debating an established decision is not going to produce anything worthwhile for or from the community.

Everyone who plays is on leaderboard.  Only players who have made BSN account AND linked their gamertag have a minifest, therefor it CANNOT BE USES AS A STANDARD.
