you know why it is called CREDIT-glitch right? certainly not because the people doing it give a flying sh.it about xp-earnings. ergo this whole claim of "its not that bad lolz!11!1" is utterly retarded

Its not bad and it does not effect you or anyone else on this planet.

sure it does not effect me directly but when someone comes to this forum and spouts nonsical arguments to justify himself, or whatever the intention behind the op was, i cannot just be like "Yup makes 100% sense he sure is a bright fellow." sorry

Then you have no argument and no reason to enter this thread.

How isn't  it a feature?

It isn't intended.

If you could select to do wave 10 right from the get-go, that would be a feature.

Exploiting host migration was clearly not intended, just the way I had to type that out, exploiting host migration, you know from the get-go it is a bannable offense.

Really, it is just a matter of people who are scared of being banned begging not to get banned.

But you can select to do wave 10, you need to do wave 10 first and then die and then your host friend is sick and needs to leave, then he is better again and then you select to do wave 10 again.

It is common in games like Gears of war , you have to do the wave before you can access the feature to do it again from that point.

Last I checked, I couldn't unlock new weapons to start every match with when playing GoW Horde...

Yeah but you unlock new characters.

By characters, do you mean skins (or models, I suppose) ? If so, then that's neither here nor there.

Why not? In the context it is the exact same thing.

 To OP:
Does your math take into account the recent decrease in wave 10 pay out and the buff to waves 3 and 6?  Bioware is taking a weird stance towards this glitch; rather than condem it, they are trying to incentivize playing through the whole mission.  This gives me the impression that they
Either are okay with the way glitch is setup but want players to acuatly play the game, or they have no way enforce or change it. Or a bit of both.

Yes i did factor in the new parameters, as i set 40k as the rate, rather than 45k, as it used to be.

Really? You'd use the that logic to justify exploiting an the bug. It is bug that happens on that wave, an unintended bug. Also, if you have to do the first 10 waves, you aren't selecting it, because in a sense it is linear.

EDIT: Selecting would be choosing to go straight to the point (in this case, wave)

It is selecting to repeat a wave if you fail it, that is what it is.
Some people need to practice to do better.

I just started a new game and couldn't select to start on Wave 10 - so, yeah, you can't "do it again from that point... like Gears of war"

A Widow does more damage than a Mantis.
A Cole Train does not do more damage than a Marcus Fenix.

No, it is not "the exact same thing" at all.

And by doing so, they are using an exploit, which mods have iterated that it is cheating. Even if the said players exclaim it is for their "practice", or whatever excuse they may need

How is it bad?

Its bad because:

1) It removes a subset of the population from the general pool.  People who intend to use the credit glitch are only playing with other people who want to do the glitch.  This thins the "Quick Match" pool and slows down the search process for people who want to join matches.

2) It hurts BioWare/EA's financial bottom line.  You're exploiting the system to gain things that have monetary value.  You can purchase packs that unlock the same items that you're earning unfairly.  If you don't see why this is harmful then I have nothing else to say to you.

3) It provides a worsened experience for the people playing fairly when they end up playing with the glitchers in general matches.  Do you know how fun it is to play with two people who have a BW X on Geth Infiltrators?  Atlas Mechs go down in seconds even on Gold and its nearly impossible to keep up if you're playing a similar role.  And it has nothing to do with jealousy.  Its just not fun when you spend half the match trying to find enemies before they've been wiped out.

So, you deserve to get banned and I really hope that you're EA account is permanently frozen.  You deserve nothing less.

Cole Train may be a better tactical choice to use.
At least in gears of war 1, it was either Coles Train or Raam on the map bullet marsh.

Different characters blend in better on different maps so there is an "advantage" to be had.

Their worth is what you make it.  I have most every weapon, so for me, XP trumps credits.

I wonder how you got them.

Cheating is cheating. If I was to rob a store and pulled a pistol at the cashier, but forgot the money on my way out, it would still be considered wrong, unless you bring in a "values can't be derived from facts" argument that has no place in everyday life.

And none of the players I have spoken to online care more about the N7 numbers than the weapons. In a lobby with a N7 2000 using whatever and a N7 400 carrying a Javelin X, the latter will cause envy. Less time spent to get more ultra-rares is the incentive for the players doing the credit glitch. Everyone who knows anything about this game knows that.

Not really.

You are outlined in blue/red no matter what, so no stealth aspect will help you really.

The only advantage is playing as a girl, and you have them unlocked at the start, so that's that.

First of all I don't play the way normal players play and I don't play on Origin and don't care about EA much.
My care is for Microsoft "Do not f**k with" is my motto.

So... if you don't even play then you are just posting here to be a dull minded troll???

EA does not need Origin to ban you.... EA games are all linked even on Xbox, so you wouldn't be able to play BF3 or Madden either.

The term cheating (which the mods themselves have explained that it is dozens of times) doesn't really get to you does it?

They have 3 hitbox model sizes.

Theron's and Raam.   Large.
Marcus & Baird.           Normal.
Anya & The Queen.     Small.

All females fall into the small category meaning that even if they are a few inches smaller, they will still be hit even if it hits the air around them.

I looked at the data, you did not.
You need to look at the data first before coming to wrong conclusions.
