1.) A Human Templar
Score = 5
Comments: Yes. People seem to be leaning toward Cullen as a companion, I'd be OK w/ that.

2.) A Human Tevinter Magister
Score = 6
Comments: Yes. Hopefully, it would be an interesting character, and someone to balance out the Templar and/or Seeker in the party.

3.) A Human Chasind
Score = 2
Comments: Yes. Technically, Morrigan is a Chasind, stolen by Flemeth. However, I'd be really interested in an actual Chasind companion.

4.) A Human Orlesian Noble
Score = -0-
Comments:

5.) An Elven or Human Seeker
Score = 4
Comments: Yes. A Seeker companion is needed. Maybe Cassandra.

6.) An Elven or Human Somniari (or "Dreamer")
Score = 10
Comments: Maybe, but it seems kinda pointless.

7.) An Elven or Human Mage Loyalist (supports Chantry control of mages)
Score = 11
Comments: I f were have a Templar and a Seeker, we don't need another pro-chantry person.

8.) A Kossith Tal Vashoth / Kadan Fe Mercenary
Score = 1
Comments: Yes. I'd prefer to have a male or femaleKossith Tal'Vashoth Saarabes, but a male Kossith Tal'Vashoth Mercenary would be acceptable (female Kossith cannot be a warrior, according to Sten).

9.) A Dwarven Lyrium Smuggling Boss (Male)
Score = 7
Comments: Maybe, if done right. I'd prefer Sandal as my Dwarven companion though (lol).

10.) A Dwarven Silent Sister (Female)
Score = -0-
Comments: "Silent" Sister. Cannot speak. Horrible companion.

11.) A Desire Demon
Score = -0-
Comments: No. Although if you're a Blood Mage, you should be allowed to summon a demon in combat.

12.) A Fog Warrior
Score = 9
Comments: Maybe. Not really sure what they are.

13.) A Fex
Score = 8
Comments: Never heard of 'em, but It might be interesing to see another race. Worked well with Thane in Mass Effect 2.

14.) A Tranquil
Score = -0-
Comments: No. No magic. No emotion. Horrible companion. No sense of self preservation either.

15.) Other - Darkspawn
Score = 3
Explain Other: I'm really interested in the idea of a Darkspawn companion, one similar to the Architect or Corypheus. In Mass Effect, we were given a Geth and a Prothean, right?

A good companion for me is someone who holds my interest. It's more about personality than cultural background but since listing things is strangely fun...

1.) A Human Templar
Score = 9
Comments: I wouldn't mind Cullen or a female templar who'd be pretty committed to their job but not fanatic. Templars are already pretty well covered though.

2.) A Human Tevinter Magister
Score = 1
Comments: Definitely should offer an interesting point of view on the society. Human magisters are privileged by both race and position and yet, as far as I've understood, they engage in bitter competition for power.

3.) A Human Chasind
Score = 7
Comments: Perhaps. A chasind could offer some outsider's insight on political scheming in Orlais for example. On the other hand, we've already had plenty of "living with the nature" type of commentary from the Dalish. I'm not sure how unique a chasind would be.

4.) A Human Orlesian Noble
Score = 4
Comments: I like having people of influence in my party. It's nice when the PC isn't always the one who has the power to solve a situation. A noble could work as a key companion to get us deep into the core of Orlesian politics.

5.) An Elven or Human Seeker
Score = 2
Comments: Yes, please! And judging from the armour artwork we'll get our seeker. Hopefully it's Cassandra. We know too little about seekers at this point.

6.) An Elven or Human Somniari (or "Dreamer")
Score = 6
Comments: Could work. Perhaps the Tevinter magister could also be a somniari. Depends how it would relate to the main plot.

7.) An Elven or Human Mage Loyalist (supports Chantry control of mages)
Score = 13
Comments: We already had Wynne and even Bethany fits the description to some extend. I hope Bioware presents us some new perspective to magic.

8.) A Kossith Tal Vashoth / Kadan Fe Mercenary
Score = 3
Comments: Preferably a rebellious female Kossith. It's about damn time.

9.) A Dwarven Lyrium Smuggling Boss (Male)
Score = 8
Comments: Another shady dwarf, hm? We already had a drunk, a legion of the death member and a bohemian bar fly as dwarven companions. Then again, I suppose almost all companions, regardless of race, are a little dubious.

10.) A Dwarven Silent Sister (Female)
Score = 14
Comments: Now this I could aprove but unfortunately, I doubt it could be done well yet. An important mute character would require extremely well made facial animation, otherwise her character development would fall flat. There are other ways it could be executed adequately but it's probably too much of a challenge for now.

11.) A Desire Demon
Score = 11
Comments: With Wynne in DAO, Justice in Awakening and both him and Anders in DA2 we've had our share of spirit companions. Still, I'd be curious to find out if demons truly are as black-and-white entities as they have been presented. A spirit of Justice wasn't, so perhaps there's something left to dig into.

12.) A Fog Warrior
Score = 10
Comments: Why not, especially if a said fog warrior would be a kossith. Not sure if all fog warriors are.

13.) A Fex
Score = 12
Comments: A new race would be interesting but I hope they'll find a way to implement it to the plot. If a fex is just there as a curiosity, don't bother.

14.) A Tranquil
Score = 15
Comments: If there could be some way to dig into his or her mind to bring some emotion back but that might be a bit cheesy. An empty vessel would not be an interesting companion. I do hope tranquils continue to be addressed in the plot.

15.) Other - Another vote for darkspawn.
Score = 5
Explain Other: Any sentient companion will do. I had some sympathy towards the talking darkspawn in Awakening and I also liked their design. Something similar could be interesting, especially if there's also a warden in the party.

Yes! I'm not alone! A sentient Darkspawn, maybe even an Emissary like the Architect or Corypheus. Even if it is just as a DLC companion, it is time!
