That's what I am annoyed with too. I can't log into origin so I can't play offline games I paid for.

You can, set Origin to Offline. If you are not able to start or logon to Origin,
unplug your Internet connection, then start the Game directly from the Game Shortcut or the Game exe.

Nor here. Same error. Tried retyping e-mail/username and password, tried restarting, nothing works. See, this is why I don't like having to start up a program and login before I can start my game. I can play DA2 or ME2 without trouble, since I don't use Origin for those.

same issue here, origin won't let me login WHICH MEANS I can't even single player - However, i found a work around for this. - If you disconnect your internet it forces origin to start in offline mode - which lets you bring the game up at least. - Hope it helps someone out there...  I sure do love having to disable my equipment in order to play single player - RIDICLIOUS!, even if it is as simple as turning my modem off, or unplugging the ethernet cord


Glad i'm not alone in this issue.  - I really wish they would hire people who knew what their doing.  Is it just me or do they seem completely incompetent?  I don't have to deal with this kind of garbage on my other multiplayer games, ON A NOW WEEKLY BASIS...

Well at least i'm not alone here... same issue.

Btw ea.com has issues as well, 9 times on 10 pages (login related ones) are not loading... the issue probably is not specific of origin client.

Starting game from the exe. or shortcut does not work for me - still brings up the login blah blah and once it fails game will not start.  As far as a origin offline mode, can't find it on the login screen.

What does work is turning  your internet off, unplug the cable cord, or turn off the modem, that forces Origin to start in offline mode - it will still ask for a login, but after that it will bring the game up.
