Out of interest, can anyone access their multiplayer manifest from here on BSN?
I can't, it asks for my pass then times out.

OMG I just lost 100k credits.
I had 83700 credits, played a silver game and afterwards it sat at the loading screen for 10 mins. I restarted the game and now I have 27k credits...
Hulk is angry.
Okay it appears a previous attempt at buying a SP actually went through even though it said there was a problem with the store and displayed my full credits.
I cycled through all my weapons now that I can log in and it looks like I got another Widow and another GPS.

So who's genius idea was to make it so people can't play SP if your server screws up?

It isn't just PC users so that is a dumb thing to respond with :happy:JimmyDeanJr wrote...
I'll just leave this here:

Are PC players being affected by this? Does this situation highlight problems people may have with Origin?
Thus, it's not dumb to post this here, as it's a method of providing feedback to EA for PC players.
However, it is pretty dumb not to realize this before posting what you did.

I just tried it (had to download my saves first as the Cloud Storage does not support basic stuff such as the offline access) and the game seems to be fine if you are not connected to Xbox LIVE, you dont ahve to delete your patch or anything. I can load the save file and the DLC seems active - I can see Javik in his cabin, I can see N7 Defender in the armor terminal etc.Anduin The Grey wrote...
It took me an hour to link my old Bioware account and create a new BSN/Origin account, I'm not beyond putting in a little effort into getting a game to work, I still remember the hassle of messing with IRQ's and custom batch files to get dos games to work. And yes, you do have to delete your cache, it takes a few seconds this is not a problem the problem is that I am forced to play via Origin and in 2 years when/if EA shut down the multiplayer servers as they have for so many games, I'll be completely unable to play ME3 at all.
I'm still playing ME1 for the umpteenth time, am not going to finish all my DA and ME runthroughs until I know how all this gets resolved.

Ah, you are perfectly correct thanks. Just unplugged the ethernet cable (hate using wireless) and tested it and it is playing with a patch while disconnected to live, irrational panic is subsiding somewhat, thanks

The problems were on all platforms including PC and PS3 (and I dont see how not being able to toy with the facebook app has anything to do with ME3)abaddon41_80 wrote...
Apparently this might not just be an EA problem
