For the sake of role-playing, BW please. It's already there just polish n finish it. Trailer Warden's gladiator facial tats don't look too noble by the way. Can't see a noble effin with the barbarian witch queen either. I have a thing for "b^%$#-shield" weilding brunettes. Elves got 3. It's not my fault Dwarves are magic haters. Give Humans that 3rd origin. Who's with me?

By "already there" do you mean "scrapped at the drawing board?"  I can see how you'd make that mistake, the keys are right next to each other.

Yes, and it doesn't really fit at all with the world they have created.

Warrior > throw all stats in strength and constitution > go for the two-handed weapon style > only wear leather armour > take Berserker specialization.

Voila, a barbarian.

Yeah but there should be other human origins other than Noble. Why is there 2 dwarf origins? Not trying to be a 4 foot dwarf. Not really my idea of an awesome character.

I wonder why the elf -> mage -> dalish option doesnt exist. They have mages cleary, and ones they arent about to hand over to the circle. it might actually make the origin interesting.

While "barbarian" doesn't appeal to me, I would have liked three choices for each race. For instance, with the dwarves... Why not a casteless, a noble, and then a lower caste? Like, say, a merchant. And your reward is a slight discount on the shop.

With humans, I'd settle for even just a commoner. I'd like something akin to Jory's story.

And, of course, I would personally like a seduction quest at the beginning. The human noble has it, and the male dwarven noble has his mistress, but the others are lacking. Of course, that one could just be me.

Also, for the record, I'm not saying Bioware should implement these. I'd just have liked to have seen them.

Barbarians are trash. Besides we already have elves, what's lower than that?

Honestly I could see a Chasind origin working, most of their settlements were overrun by darkspawn early on and you see that plenty of them are retreating north, it wouldn't be too hard to make one that would essentially follow the same story as the first part of Fable, i.e. bandits(monsters in this case) overrun your village and you get saved/recruited by a hero(warden).

And I agree with you, Litchenstein, the Dalish clearly have mages who are and will never be governed by the circle, Dalish mage should have been possible.

Either way though it does feel kind of cheap knowing as a human you're either a noble or a mage, even a commoner human origin would have been nice, as it is it's kind of tough to play a 'thief' styled rogue as a human noble...it just doesn't make much sense from an rp perspective.

How about a human soldier origin? A commoner who serves in the King's army?

Doesnt necessarily got to be barbarian, human noble is just too f#$%ing limiting, almost paladin two shoes status. I hate that ish. Human commoner/soldier/barbarian anything except for noble.

What the hell are you talking about?
There's nothing about a human noble that obligates you to be nice.

Yeah, killing every dalish, mage, sacrifice dwarves for golem army doesn't sound very paladinic. I did this with a human noble.

You can stop there.

Unless you think a murder of crows, by definition, go around killing people.  Because all uses of individual words apply all definitions.

This is a forum, we must be in ancient Rome!

That would be cool and throw the Cailin and Alistair dynamic into a great new light.

I like the idea of maybe a Chasind Wilder Origin story, it would lead to some some interesting conversations, especially with Morrigan.

Didn't you read the first 3 definitions you just posted? Especialy the third. A word can have several diferent definitions. What in the Noble origin made you think "Noble" was about your moral och mental character?

Because throughout history, nobles have been nothing but exalted, moral and admirable right?

A noble does not have to be noble.

Just saying, the word noble could interpreted as one's heritage as well as one's moral character. Being of noble birth has implications tied to it. That's all I'm saying. A commoner could go either way or neutral without any bias. But a "bad" noble, suddenly Ferelden's populace is in shock. (eg. Loghain could have never betrayed Cailin his story must be true, the Warden's are working with the darkspawn.)
