Irate Player:* Gets grabbed by a Banshee while trying to Biotic Charge it.*
Me: *Kills Banshee before it executes him*
Irate Player: God dammit! Stop taking my kills!
Me: I'm just trying to help you. That Banshee almost killed you.
Irate Player: Go to the other side of the map. I don't want your help!
Irate Player: * Walks around corner and gets KO'ed by a Brute*
Me: *Kills Brute and revives him*
Me: In case you haven't realized, this is a TEAM GAME! Besides, we all earn the same amount of XP and credits at
the end of the round. All that matters is that we complete the objectives quickly and survive to the end. Your
individual score means very little. So please, just chill out!
Irate Player: Shut the f**k up kid! Do everyone a favor and staple your mouth shut!
Me: If you say so *Ignores to revive him and lets him die for the rest of the game*
Irate Player: ******! Why didn't you help me!
*At the Reward Screen*
Player: Kick this idiot out of here.
Me: *Gets Kicked*
Similar scenarios kept happening all throughout yesterday. Am I mising something here? Have the people played too much Call of Stinky Dooty to understand that not every game is designed for lone wolf operations? Do they feel their masculinity dropping if they don't get the highest scores? Am I wrong for trying to help them? I feel that it is idiotic to complain about kill stealing on a team-oriented game, especially when we all get the same rewards. Why can't people understand that teamwork can actually be a good thing?
And about K-Stealing in a team game..... HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!
