It would be nice if they would let us play a mature character for a change, rather than one that just escaped puberty.
THIS,a million times this.
I always found it kind of hilarious in DAO,for example, that in the character creator, you were given the option to create an older looking character - hell, you could even create an OLD character, but the origins stories / NPC reactions to your PC made those choices moot..
I am around 30 myself, and in DAO,stretching my imagination, could roleplay someone a bit more mature, playing as an elven or dwarven Warden, even the Human Mage origins .....
Still, "agism" was actually my main gripe with the Origins - they pretty much pigeonholed your PC`s age. You could not have roleplayed a warrior of around 40 - 50,for example.
DA2 gave you even less choice in that regard....uhm.
So,yes,Dakota Strider is dead on : if any kind of origin / class choice is brought back,it would be nice to be given the choice to roleplay people of different ages, not just teenagers.
I find constantly having to RP teens / very young adults quite repetitive - difficult, even,if it is not a fixed protagonist I am playing.
As for the voice - depends on the age,of course:) For my RL age bracket,I would love Wendy Braun (Gianna Parasini) for the female PC.

Leandra bugged the heck out of me in this respect, because SHE looked to be around 40, tops, except for the gray hair. I tried adding some wrinkles to my Hawke to try and hit some sort of sweet spot between Carver/Bethany and Leandra, but even the mildest aging made Hawke look older than Leandra.
If they insist on putting your parents in DA3 in some capacity, I hope to gawd they don't PUT THEM IN A LOW-CUT DRESS. Especially your DAD.

No, a millions times NOT THIS. I'm tired of playing gruff older men in western RPGs. Some of us enjoy the more attractive younger men popular in JRPGs (though personally I don't care much for the gameplay of JRPGs). It was so frustrating for me to make my MShep even remotely attractive looking to me. You can see on my avatar that mods helped make my Warden look a lot nicer.
For male VA, if it is Orlesian accent, Gaspard Ulliel. For Ferelden, Dr Who's Matt Smith.

They should ESPECIALLY put your dad in a low-cut dress! ... Hell, it worked for Anders in Awakening, he practically had "nip slip" through the entire game!

Ummm...I was leaning towards having the option to kind of being able to create a more mature character,in case it is not a pre-fixed protagonist, you know? ;)As in,to have a bigger age bracket for the PC I am able to RP.

At least, just hire him to portray 'The Magnificent Bastard' again. An insane Englishman in France would rock.

Actually would not mind at all if Adam Baldwin voiced a romance option.

That is,Dakota,The Orlesian Way. "Insult in the enemy`s general direction:lol:"
Thanks for posting this, have not seen this in a while.
Hmmm....I would totally love someone like Jean Reno to voice an Orlesian NPC
Only in theory,of course...resources,and all
To be honest,I would be so happy with any of the brilliant voice actors BW worked with before.
But please,more Fred Tatasciore... <3
