miranda is too
boring, she was only important in 2 because she was a cerberus lacky, in
3 she wouldn't be important the other female squad mates are smarter,
tougher and have more history with shepard.

Miranda has a ton of history w/ Shep IMO, she rebuilt'em for 2 years and spent the entire Collector Mission with the team.

its not the same the ME1 squad shepard talked to, recruited and then built a relationship.
miranda spending 2 years reading reports of shepards missions and working on his corpse dont count as history, and in 2 she was with him for slightly longer than other new characters but had no more dialogue or development.

Maybe it's just me but i never considered adding a brand new squad mate at the end of the trilogy a good idea, we had better choices to choose from and they went with some completely new guy miranda would of made more sense especially with how the collector base turned out at the end of ME2.

I did not know being second in command was a lacky, although I actually hate the fact that she they promoted her in ME 3 to that level since it does not make sense due to the way Cerberus is structured in ME 2.
There were lots of ways to take her story, lots of conflicts and themes that intersected with the main plot themes but alas it is LM 2.0 IF they ever added content they could always add stuff post-Sanctuary, since they have her fall off the face of the universe instead of helping the attack on Cronus, you know the headquarters of that organization she was second in command of.

It would of been interesting having her on board, being ex-cerberus, even better if she didn't quit, but you know - role-playing that way is out of the question, haha. Imagine the tension on board the Normandy.

seeing as though she can't be with you for Horizon and can die it is unlikely we'll get her. I think after we have been given some closure on all our old squadies adding one for DLC would be too difficult/unfair as for some people they will have died or will die in ME3 for some reason. I can only think that new DLC will either have temperory squadmates for the missions or new squadmate for another part of the ME universe (I'm hoping for a space pirate)

This line of thinking is why ME3 isnt as great as it could’ve been..... It could’ve been made so that Miranda can join you up until that point (Horizon Mission). Prior to the start of the mission she leaves to handle her mission and be comes unavailable.  Good Ole” Shep finds out and goes after her gun blazing. From there you can either choose to keep her with you or send to lead one of the Earth Squads (if she survived). I think that option should have been available for all ME2 squad members. If a choice you made got them killed …..That’s on you.   Bioware should have gone for broke on this one and EA should’ve step to the side and let them finish this right. Then milked it after

Miranda has one of the top 3 poorest excuses to NOT join Shepard, the other two being Grunt and Samara.

I would love to have any of the 3 return to the squad in any capacity, but Miranda has the edge of also being a typing that's sorely lacking in ME3's current squad= Sentinel.

It's utter bogus that not a single ME2-exclusive came back though, and I know there'd be plenty of us out there that'd pay for a DLC that could bring them back in any form.

Miranda could've been given to provide insight on Cerberus, its operations, the Lazarus Project... and her investigation to find her sister could be used as a way to expand on Cerberus rise to power and flesh it out, making it look less idiotic.

But noooo, we got Vega instead. What the hell were they thinking?

Miranda role was perfect in ME3, although they should have added a confrontation scene between her and Ashley over male Shepard.

Why didn't they do this?

Kasumi Goto and Zaeed, but more importantly Kasumi should have been part of the squad.  We know very little about Kasumi and I think it was a missed opportunity to expand on her character in ME3.

They could have saved game data by just replacing Traynor with existing Kelly Chambers and giving Kasumi more game time.

lolol ....That's easily resolved...Fly by a few reapers obliterating a world and point out the Window.   I know that would shut me up…by comparison my problems aren’t all the serious.

Who knows!!!!! There were a number of NPC's Shepard came across that would be better suited to join the crew over Vega..I mean he's ok but I would have loved a more familiar face.   I understand there are time constraints and resource issues but this is Mass Effect we're talking about here. The only reason sales arent  continuing to blow the roof off is because people have caught wind of all these issues.
