How would they buff them?

1. Phantoms are an elite enemy. Obviously they're more effective.

First of all, phantoms are close range specialists. Its completly absurd they deal more damage with their handguns at all ranges then a nemesis that is specialised at long range.

Also every enemy with shields is an elite enemy anyway.

Phantom's are monsters. They're the type of "oh ****!" enemy that makes the game so fun.

Depends what class/difficulty you're playing on... if you're playing as a Turian Soldier on silver, Phamtoms are more like "Oh goody, easy points!"

What made you think that? Phantoms are an all rounder to me and definitely an enemy you should handle carefully.

They should just give them cloak as well. So they can at least run away successfully.
Also, losing your shields when there's a group of enemies is BAD, in case you didn't know.

Noooo waaayyy. That's not a simple buff, that might be game breaking.

That they are the enemies that try to get in close range to the player to use their sword???

They're supposed to have Widows. Give them real Widows... including their cover penetrating ability. No one will ever complain about the Nemesis being weak again.

their armed with raptor snipers not widows, just theirs seem to have forgotten how to rapid fire.

Right, but they're supposed to have Widows, according to their Codex entry.

I would like the know what kind of mod they put in their Raptors to make it drop my shields in one shot. Because damn.

Actually, if they made the targetting sequence (the red laser) about twice as long, then I could see it.

It would be just like ME1. On Insanity, if you didn't have some good armor mods, you could die from a single Assassination with full health.

I think they need to weaken the phantoms handgun acurracy. I mean that little thing is more accurate and more fatal than a sniper rifle? Even when she runs and fires at the same time, it's almost 100% hit from any distance

The player does when he use a claymore or gps .
Thanks to shieldgate a shotgun is a better weapon for an infiltrator then a sniper rifle.(what is dumb but not point of this thread)

Heh I got shouted down for suggesting this myself on another thread:happy:

As for the Nemesis..maybe give her a real Raptor with rapid fire but less damage or give her a widow which is what she seems to be using anyway.

Not in groups on gold. They drop your shields every second and it's difficult to tell where they are.

This.  I think they may have had their AIs buffed too, I'll regularly have 2-3 of them all shoot me at once; I've effectively been instakilled when 3 shot me in the same second (shield gate, health gate, last health).  I've had them be the final shot on my health as well, sniping me from across the map to get that hit.

On Gold, they also don't have to line up the laser for a hit (I've been hit without lasers or the sound multiple times) and sometimes they do something akin to the Rocket Trooper's double rocket, except with double sniper rounds.

And they also don't miss very much.

I've had bad memories of being sniped on ME1. I  can definitely see the one shot kill idea working if the instantaneous aim and shoot is toned down.

I think Nemesis is pretty dangerous,so no need to buff her."One shot kill Nemesis" could be a short game.
Phantom on the other hand is a real pain in the a__.Deadly at any range(those damn little darts or something),supreme agility and infamous sword stab.

Dont know. All that is needed to defeat a phantom easily is a gun that reliable stuns them. With a geth pulse shotgun, they just stagger around without doing much damage and die in like three shots.

Did it occur to you that Nemesis spawns way more than Phantom?

And who told you that Phantoms are "close range specialists"? Just because they like to use their sword, doesn't mean that they shouldn't use a ranged attack to cover themselves while approaching.

Trouble is they can engage with the hand of god from extreme distance so you may not actually see the Phantom thats hitting you...I really would like to see the range/accuracy of that hand weapon nerfed a bit but Im aware not everyone agree's.

And where did i wrote that they shouldnt use a ranged attack? Its just dumb that their ranged attack does more damage then that of a nemesis.  And of course they are close range specialist because they are the only enemy that directly(even when in line of sight/not like troopers or centurions who just encirlce the player and then occasionly use their melee) try to get in melee range.

just give them a Widow, they'd be one hit killing you then.
As long as they are using a that special Raptor they will always be nerfed because in the Nemisis page on the ME3 codex it says they are implated to deal with the recoil of Widows.

They have a close melee insta kill, yes. But that doesn't mean they can't be deadly at range.

A Nemesis on their own isn't dangerous, but their ability to instantly take down my shields and force me into cover over and over and over again is so mouth-frothingly infurating that I still consider them high priority targets.

After all, you don't encounter Nemeses on their own. When they're forcing you into cover, the Phantom is coming closer, the Atlas is coming closer, the Engineer is setting up his Turret in peace, the Assault Troopers are throwing grenades at you and the Centurion is just itching for you to show your unshielded face.

If they could use decoy, that would be incredible.  A decoy of themselves would be classic as run up and melee her we get stunned then sniped.  Even slicker would be a decoy of our teammate dying.  We run up to revive him....stunned, staggered, sniped.
