I pulled one and used it. The weapon is aweful. And, for some odd reason, you, Bioware, decided to make it an ultra rare. Why? It serves absolutely no purpose. At least every ultra rare is good for something. The Scorpion is fun, the Javalin does a ton of damage, and the Wraith is very light if you manage to get it to level 10. Every other weapon is quite possibly the best in its class. Yet, the Indra is just plain garbage. How can you create a weapon with worse statistics than a Silver? The Vindicator does more damage on paper.
Thanks Bioware for wasting an ultra rare drop.

Actually its a Tempest with a scope, 100x more accuracy, and slower firing rate. Look at the numbers, they match up too perfectly. Its uncanny really. Except the weight.

The difference is that its classed as a sniper rifle so it gains the +40% base damage from the tactical cloak evolution. It's a snipers AR and like all weapons that get thrown in the trash after one use, its probably a lot better than people are thinking.

No, it's just horrible. If you want to use it to great effect use the Tempest. At least then you don't have a heavy POS bogging down your cooldowns and you have basically the same weapon. Oh and now you can equip a real sniper rifle if you want.

Worst N7 weapon? The Eagle would like to talk to you with its 282 DPS. It makes the Indra look like it packs a PUNCH.

That just makes it worse haha. If it's a sniper rifle then it takes a damage cut if it isn't being fired while aiming through the scope. As for it gaining +40% damage from the tactical cloak evolution, that is hardly a worth while bonus when we have plenty of good sniper rifles to choose from already... semi-auto and bolt action.
If we apply your logic then actually a human soldier using adrenaline rush would be a far more effective class to use this weapon with.

The Indra was a promotional item for the PC version of Mass Effect 3. I guess Bioware decided that it belonged in the Ultra Rare category because of that. They've done the same with all the other "Collector's Edition" and promotional weapons. I'd have much rather had the Argus than the Indra, but none of us are in charge of those things so... eh.

just unlocked indra II, not sure how to use it, did not do so hot with it on my infiltrator.... maybe on a human soldier with adrenalin rush?.. any ideas?

many weapons start showing their usefulness on level V....but the Indra shows it until level X *well based on the single player...im sure in the multiplayer is even worse*
Bioware need to increase the damage by 100% or more...the Indra is not worth the N7 rarity...its not even worth the gold packaging...it should be on veteran packs just like the Raptor and the Incisor

I believe its not even supposed to be there. M90 Indra showing up was probably some trainee making a mistake or trolling because of night shifts.

yeah but the eagle is a commendation pack only...still is a crappy reward...they should move it to the regular packs and put the Valkyrie on the commendation instead...
but the indra has the same rarity as the black widow...thats blasphemy...and whoever thought of doing that should be ashamed of him/herself
