You're done, all you have to do is wait. It can take up to several hours depending on the time of the day.

I was thinking the ability to use Xbox 360 avatars in Mass Effect
That'd be a neat idea, import avatars from consoles to BSN. (Xbox 360 site already does that, so it isn't impossible)
Thanks for the support, everyone!

It's not that hard.
1. Make a picture (crop, resize, etc.)
2. Save into Documents > Bioware > Dragon Age > Pre-release characters (Put as Read-Only)
3. Install DA character creator.
4. Make character for picture.
5. Wait.
6. ????
7. Artistic Integrity.
And how exactly does that help us console users, genious?
Actually, genius, I am a console gamer. The character creator is free to download. Who looks like a fool now?!

Same. While the uploading/creating of an avvy is not hard to do really they should still allow custom avatar uploads. Just to shut people up at least. Hell you can find the character creator by hitting Games at the top of the page, DA:O>Character Creator.
Also this has very little to do with ME3. I must have said this 10 times now but I get the feeling a lot of BSN'ers think there is nothing beyond the ME & DA boards. Three Words: Off Topic board.

Never could get this to work. It always gives me the same error: "Unable to access your online profile storage. The account information provided may be invalid."

Well, this is not the right for forum for this but, I agree.
I'm a bit new to BSN to be honest, and I didn't see an off-topic when I scanned the forums. General discussion seemed appropriate enough for the game I play the most

True, if people are already exploiting the avatar system, and Bioware really doesn't care, why haven't been able to upload our own avatars?

I thank you for agreeing with me, but you seemed... I dunno, a bit snobbish TBH when you said this was the wrong forum. Maybe I was a bit quick to retaliate for something that wasn't that big of a deal, I apologize.

I don't know... there are some advantages to having to go through a few extra hoops to customize your avatar... it separates the boys from the even younger boys...

There is indeed an Off-Topic forum. There is also a forum for help/questions about the social network. Click the forum button at the top of the site, and scroll down.
As mentioned above, this is not a topic for this forum. However, instead of locking it, I'll move it to Off-topic.
