I had mentioned to @ehlien that I liked Inception, but the "open ending" it had left 2 possiblities:

Cobb is dreaming but doesn't care, he is happy
or
Cobb is awake and is happy

It's easy to love the ending with those choices. And you had a lot of context to go on.

You don't have the context with ME3. For example, the Normandy scene is so out of place and character, it's nigh impossible to speculate about. And it leaves you feeling very unsatisfied.

Bingo! Well said Thorn. It's not so much the open endings it's the bleak outlook crew, LI, and galaxy at large.

Speaking for myself. If I was honest, yes I would.

If on the other hand I didn't give a crap and was pleased with myself at how "memorable" the ending was (Hudson) or how I made my mark on a series I didn't create despite it being highly destructive (Walters) I wouldn't.

I seem to recall that they received death threats.

I wouldn't say anything.

No but BioWare takes -100 fans lost for every word those say No matter what it may be....after all the lies and after failing to create a decent ending....they were the ones responsible for making sure the game was good....they failed and most fans hold those two responsible.....far more so because of the lies.

One of them could say something like "the Asari are blue" and BioWare would lose upwards of 400 fans just because he opened his mouth.

You can GO to the actors. It doesn't matter if she's filming or not. I know that they went to Sheen.

On off day you can get quite a bit done though.

She probably isn't contracted to do much more.

I wouldn't stress much......

That would hurt the other side of the house....it would scare EA's investors who couldn't care less about what Mass Effect is or what happened with the ending, all they would care about is that one of EA's top developing studios screwed up to the point a public apology was neccessary.......EA wouldn't allow it.

Businesses do whatever will make them money both long and short term. If they think that saying sorry would make them more money than not saying sorry they'll do it sooner or later.

Even if they came out and said "We're sorry" it'd cause a firestorm.   People would jump on them about every flaw in ME3, just look at the forums.   As much as I'd like to see them say "We're sorry" I know it's not realistic

It would hurt more so than the negative reaction they're getting by not saying anything? If I was an investor I'd be far more scared of investing with a company that refuses to admit its mistakes because that means that they've not learned from them. It only works when they can convince enough people that there hasn't really been a mistake.

Well the problem there is that they were PR statements, attempting to use catchphrases like "victorious and uplifting" and the now infamous "artistic integrity". In essence they were veiled jabs at the fans, acting as if we were the ones with the problem and they had done no wrong.
You will always earn the ire of people if you talk down to them.

To say nothing of the fact that the main culprit, Walters, has said absolutely nothing (other than his frankly snide twitter reply insinuating that everyone on the Citadel died).
