I'm sorry, but I can't get excited about this AT ALL.

It's been confirmed this is a cutscene explaining to us why we got what we got, why the relays are destroyed, why the Citadel is destroyed, why the Normandy is stranded GOD KNOWS WHERE on Jurassic Park adventure land time and why the Reapers gave us BS circular logic.

So no, I will not be getting my hopes up...End of story.

Eh...I don't see how this is news, Did anyone expect the Extended cut to NOT need additional VO work? BW have said that they didn't expect to have to do this, so it's not like they've had "Extra clarity and confirmation" up their sleeve just waiting to be released.

I just saw this on Twitter, and let's just say I'm excited.  Probably foolish of me to get my hopes up so high (not nearly as high as pre-ME3 release), but I don't want to dismiss EC just yet.

I try to to stay optimistic.  My biggest grievance was how the ending discarded the characters, and now they're bringing back their VAs.  I still keep hoping the writers will retcon the Normandy retreat since it was so unpopular (even with a number of pro-enders), but that would require "changing" the ending.  Oh, sigh...
