Okay, I'm saying this one more time; the Cataylst giving circular logic is a myth. It was perpetuated by some disgruntled fans and AngryJoe because they did not like the twist that the Reapers weren't actually bad guys. They assume what the Catalyst says isn't objectively true, but clearly it is.

Most people are confused about what circular logic actually implies, and assume the Xzibit yo dawg meme applies to the catalyst. While it is dumb, it's not circular logic.

Circular logic implies that to prove a point, the point you're trying to prove has to be true, in order to prove it. Even saying what it is you can see that it's a fallacy.

One thing that is circular, is the fact that the reapers proclaim to be defending us from synthetics for our own good, but actually facilitate the advancement of our technology to the point where we can develop the AI technology they are trying to protect us from.

For us to prove him wrong, we'd need to know what happens without reaper interference, which obviously isn't possible. Thus, his reasoning is based on an argument that you can't falsify, which if you know anything about science, is also a fallacy.

All of you guys posting stupid memes need to go away. You're adding nothing to this discussion except spam and frankly, you  guys wouldn't even know art if it smacked you in the face.

Funny, you sound like BioWare.

If this was really about "artistic integrity" they'd be making sure everything worked properly in the game so we could appreciate the "art" in all its glory.  At the moment, for example, most people have a Monet that looks more like Susan Boyle, and that's just the face import issue.

Hey, hotshot. I'm not talking about some silly videogame. But, ever since Bioware insisted they wanted to end their game the way THEY wanted to (THE NERV OF THEM) people have been ****ting on the idea of artistic integrity left and right. If you don't think of videogames as art, that's fine. Maybe I don't either. But, lets not attack actual artist's rights to do what they want with their material just because a couple of grumbling neckbeards didn't get the ending that satisfied their narcisistic personality disorders.

I will not be optimist until they confirm Meer, Hale and Szarabajka to be on the EC.

I'm calling it now: They only brought back Ali Hillis because Liara is the only character who can't die and she will be the one doing the monologue because she's the canon romance.

No, I'm implying the truth. It matters not what the general public thinks is art. If an artist has a vision that he/she wants to bring to life, it is not up to the public to not call it art. I may not like the Mona Lisa. But, that does not give me the right to call it "not art." You probably don't think of professional wrestling as art. Or soap opera. But, there are many that do. Your subjective opinion is not the only one in existence and does not have objective truth to proclaim itself as higher than anything an artist chooses to define as art.

In short: don't try to tell someone with the useless degree in the fine arts what art is; he tried it once and got chewed out by a pretty well known modern painter who embarrassed him infront of his colleagues. This was after he called a piece not art because it didn't fit HIS subjective opinion about what sort of painting should and shouldn't be considered art.

Frankly, it's not up to you and you're an arrogant fool if you think it is. Believe me, you don't wanna be that guy either. It's a ****ing drag.

Didn't seem that way to me, considering how much screentime she gets throughout the game.

And then its the art argument. Again. Excuse me while I alleviate my pain by shooting out my left ball, but of course its the only way you can excuse anything remotely bad these days, and get away with it.

You know, with the huge budget problem they are probably going through now I would love to see M-Fckers Agents trying to milk a high pay from them to have the Voice Actors.

Yeah, I've often thought she was the "intended" love interest, esp. since she's almost forced on Shepard in ME1.  And if you don't romance her, a lot of dialogue scenes with her almost play out like guilt trips for not being with her.  I've often wondered, for example, if during the "gift" scene during ME3 whether Liara's is, um, impregnating herself with Shepard DNA without his/her knowledge, her body language to me suggests this - plus we don't know how that works exactly, since Liara's said sexual contact isn't needed.

Keep an eye out for any sign of Keith Szarabajka. If he's being recorded, there's a darn good chance it's Harbinger. If it's Harbinger then... something big's coming.

And the name of the catalyst's VA? Hopefully he won't have more lines too...

The Catalyst's voice is a combination of Mark Meer, Jennifer Hale and the kid.

Really?  I wondered why it sounded childlike, female and male at the same time - didn't realise it was Meer and Hale combined with the kid... interesting.

I read the script.

Shepard : I refuse the options!

SpaceBrat: You have no choice, I control the Reapers! Choose now!

Shepard : Joker, get the Normandy out of here!

Joker : but commander!

Shepard : now Joker! That's an order! Save as many as you can!

SpaceBrat : choose now or I will choose for you....

RGB ending....

Lol

They'd only use it to troll us...again...

Something along the lines of:

RGB ending w/ epilogue slides, stargazer, then a game over screen with Harby's famous, "This hurts you." line.

Whoa there my friend. It's artistic. It doesn't need to be good or sensible. As long as there is an artistic vision in place, it doesn't matter what it is. It will be the final word and you will be in awe of its majesty.

For some people, maybe authors included - it doesn't. For me, and I am pretty sure majority of people who pay the authors,- it does. ;) I am not denying them right to do whatever they want, but it kind of "right to shoot themselves in the foot", nobody will benefit from it in the end.
