When are you supposed to get your import bonuses in Mass Effect 2? As soon as you wake up or when you gain control of the Normandy?
I've just imported a level 60 Mass Effect 1 character and got to the part that I wake up, but I haven't started at level 5, and I haven't got my import bonuses... I have been playing around with gibbed, but I didn't alter anything to do with level, exp, credits or resources, just my appearance.

Actually... it hasn't given me bonuses on a save before I messed around with the save editor...

Powers/level should be as soon as you wake up. The level up sign should flash up on the right hand side of the screen. Not sure about money and resources but I think they come with the Normandy. Not like you have any opportunity to use them before then anyway.

I think it was a bug. Re-imported my save and everything is fixed.
I think what happens is that if you quit or reload without creating your own save (instead relying on the restart mission or perhaps even an autosave) then it doesn't register the import bonuses.
