First I've heard this lol.
Same. lol I just figured Coats was one of the few tough bastards who survived nearly everything the Reapers could throw at him.
He looks rather clean and dapper for somebody who's supposedly been on the Reaper front line for several months.
Almost as if he had just come from a steak dinner with Harbinger...

Yeah the odds of Coats being indoctrinated are pretty much slim. If he's indoctrinated, odds are Anderson is and every other human on earth during that time.

Well, why *did* Anderson want to stay on Earth when he would've been far more useful as a coordinator on the Normandy?
Why did those troops insist that tanks couldn't kill a Reaper only for tanks to proceed to kill a Reaper when Shepard told them to stop prancing about?
Everybody's indoctrinated, man.
Or stupid. Possibly just very stupid.

I'd imagine if 99% of an attacking force are wiped out, and any attempts at communication with the unaccounted for are not returned, you'd assume decimation too. Kind of funny no one thought to sneak around the back of the reaper, using the frontward troops as a distraction...just all ran at it down one straight ramp.
Or call the fleet to bomb Harbinger. Sovereign class barriers are supposed to be extremely weak on worlds like Earth.
But I guess zerging him was considered a proper tactic. For some reason. Also, why did we leave that Mako again? Because it hit a pot hole? Do Makos not have jump jets anymore? What the hell.

Looks clean to me. Only Shepard has shinier armour, because Shepard carries around a gallon of polish at all times.
You will not undermine SDT (Steak Dinner Theory).

Name me one person besides grunt whose actually appeared to have environmental residue on them. In fact no one's ever had dirt on them throughout the entire mass effect campaigns, so I think it's safe to say bioware never made those animations becasue they didn't think a common thing all video games do would be used as fuel against them.
Listen to yourself! You're indoctrinated!

But there is a strange hum. The SR-2 sounds like it's running off of propellers when Shepard's down in the shuttle bay.Gorkan86 wrote...
And also James Vega indoctrinated. Remember, he hears strange hum being.

Just before the final run he says to Shepard "You're a hero to these men and women. Don't discount the effect you can have on them" and gives him the proper credit. And then he is quick to assume all Hammer forces are wiped out in the most important operation of human (no...galactic) history.

Actually that could be how the reapers are unknowingly "servants of the pattern"

What about those who didn't do the Geth Fighters option mission (or if you're going further back, didn't do the Operation: Overlord option DLC)?EsterCloat wrote...

indoctrination=/=control in the initial stages, it's power is in "suggestion" everyone would appear to be their normal selves, that's why it's called "insidious".
