 I'm only in the 90s, yet when I join groups with people on gold who are essentially about 300 or higher, no matter what class, weapons, level, or anything else I have my character set on, 9 out of 10 times I get kicked. The lack of trust based on the N7 rank is astounding. I've only ever voted to kick someone when they are trying to play a class that's level 1-3 on gold, but never for their rank(unless their N7 is 10 or lower while playing gold<_<). Am I just an unlucky case or does this happen a lot to others?

Your manifest shows me a few rares on a very low lvl, if you enter a lobby with n7 90 with a widow I, I would probably kick you.

Honestly, the best course of action for you may just be to get your n7 rating higher. Play a lot of silver and promote a class. I have an n7 only past 120 on my main account, and I don't get kicked.

Unfortunately, it might not be JUST your N7 level that's getting you kicked. If I saw someone with low leveled weapons AND a low N7 level, just just tells me they haven't been playing very long and probably shouldn't be in Gold yet.

Everything changes once you turn 100. Or so they say. I don't know, maybe they think your class is a mismatch with what they picked. Maybe they don't like your guns. Maybe they don't like your screen name. Maybe they were just about to invite their friend in when you joined the lobby. Maybe they have O.C.D. and their compulsion is to randomly kick people from the lobby. Who knows?

^ You must be hooking up with idiots. As long as your character is high enough and have good guns you should not be kicked.

That said, most people who play gold have been playing a while and have promoted a bunch of characters so that the "character cards" they get from the &#@*! store will actually be worth something, lol. So when they see a low N7 rating now they assume you have not played very long. Volc19's advice is probably the easiest ( promote a few characters to get your N7 rating above 100 ).

Get all your classes to 20. This sets you at 120 and show's you've at least put some time into understanding each class, and thus have a better grasp of group tactics.

For you specifically OP I suggest maxing out your commons with the Recruit Packs, then use Veteran to max out your uncommons. After that you can do what you feel about getting Rares and Ultra Rares. This is one of the more efficient uses of the packs as you clear all the Common/Uncommon weapon and mod cards out of the RNG when you buy a Specter Pack.

if you are experienced and you still get kicked...why dont you just promote the characters?

i was getting kicked a lot back when i decided to stay N7 120....but then i took an arrow on the knee...ooops wrong words...i meant...but then i decided to promote my characters until i knew i was never going to be kicked....and thats it...problem solved...

i dont kick ppl...but lazy ppl that doesnt want to promote are kinda lame...

I would probably have voted kick as well, based on your MP manifest.

Ask yourself, are you certain you have what it takes to play gold matches successfully. Looks as if you haven't seen much action. I'm merely saying, not provoking or anything.

Saying again, your weapon, unless it's promotianal, speaks much more about your game then your N7 rating.

On the other hand, joining one of the groups would guarantee you matches, XP, mileage, credits

Errrr... as an N7 420 I have to disagree with this. If you have gotten a good build that plays well there is virtually no reason to promote. At this point there are enough guides and walkthroughs floating about for even a brand new player to create decent to good Gold running characters without having to promote to fix mistakes.

Also if you're like me and have a few characters that have been respeced to not use the primary class power then promoting is actually detremental as I'd have to spend yet another respec.

Your guns are terrible. I mean really, really bad. I don't expect my teammates to be backing Black Widow Xs or anything, but honestly... if the best gun you can bring tro bear is a Carnifex II then what are you doing in Gold?!

More importantly: if you have ZERO medigel, rockets or ops packs then WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN GOLD?!

Go back to Silver. Buy Veteran Packs. Level up your weapons. Use other classes until you hit N7 120. Build up a generous stockpile of consumables. Stop being a burden to Gold players.

The only time I kick anyone is if they are taking too long to start the game. Swaping weapons and characters for 3-5 minutes when the other 3 of us are green and waiting to start is annoying.

Please configure your character before you join a match.

I'm 150 and get kicked all the time because of it. The funny thing is I've played more than most 400 N7 ranked players, and I only play Gold.. Promoting is pointless IMO considering there are reset power cards.. Oh well, their loss.

an N7 420 will never get kicked...so its ok if you wanna stay at that level....im talking about ppl that refuse to promote despite knowing very well that their N7 level means they are going to get kicked...

im talking about is ppl hanging around in the N7 100's and that have level X weapons and lots of experience on the multiplayer... and its funny cuz it is those experienced players the ones that nag the most about getting kicked...yet they dont promote their characters to get rid of that issue...they are masochists if you ask me XD

I don't mind people going AFK in the earlier rounds, but he went AFK in rounds 7-9 and finally moved his ass in round 10. Seriously man wtf. My gamertag is sooo fetch by the way, and I essentially carried your ass so you can get 70K+ credits. You're welcome. You should really stay in silver.
