Hi there,

Pardon me, I'm not sure if this is the correct forum section, but I know very little about gaming and technology and I just had a problem with my Collector's Edition discs, and I need immediate help.

While playing, my dog decided to walk by and knock my xbox over with my ME3 Disc-2 in there. After sending him into his crate, I'll release him in a few moments, I ejected the game to discover there's a scratch going around the entire disc. Now it won't bloody start, the xbox runs the disc, but it remains at a black screen when it starts. After cursing at the Goddess for an hour, I have reluctuantly concluded that this disc is ruined.

So my question: What is the difference between the Collector Edition's disc and that of a regular purchase? I don't think there are different missions, but I don't know for certain. If there's nothing majorily different, especially in the future (DLC, etc.), then I may buy the game all over again. Keelah, my wallet is suffering.

Thanks in advance, my friends. ^_^

the only difference to the collectors edition and a normall version was you got codes for a DLC ( whic you downloaded) a in game dog (which does nothing) and some other goodies.

so to answer your question - nothing is different, so save your self £60 and get the normal version thinks its around £20

there is no difference. I bought the CE, yet my discs stopped reading, no marks or anything.
i went to the store and swapped the discs but kept my case. Have had no probems yet.
