I did this once, and only once.

We were three friends that played together, one of us was a Salarian Infiltrator, the other one a Geth Engineer, I played a Justicar. Because we were missing the fourth man we decided to open our silver game up for a random. One joined, Asari Adept, looked great and we started the game.

We got Cerberus on White and decided to set up shop on top of the ramp, near the ladder and the Ammo box. Geth drops his turret, I put up the bubble, everything is set and go. Wave begins, random guy jumps off the ladder, charges into the bottom room, we hear the sound of a biotic explosion and the announcement "Your teammate has gone dark". We sigh, our Infiltrator jumps down, the Engi and I run through the corridor, we revive him, no big deal. I make sure to tell him to stick with us and if possible detonate my Reaves.

You guessed it, next wave the random does the same thing and - predictably - dies. This game goes on for the whole mission, we make it to extraction anyway and there he managed to get killed right after jumping off the ladder. Our Infi jumps down to revive him, I call out to just let him bleed out because I was fed up. The Infi went with it, and then was the only time I ever heard the random speak. It was a loud "F*CK YOU!".

Needless to say, that was his last round with us.

The only time I ever "let" my teammates die is if I see them going down constantly. I'm not going to repeatedly cease what I'm doing in order to babysit another player. If they can't keep themselves alive, why should I do it for them?

I will happily let a teammate bleed out. I enjoy the aspect of team work and if a team mate has become a problem for one reason or another... Meh. Enjoy my spectator cam.

I mean, they have to learn their class somewhere... and I'd rather have them do it in Bronze, where one player can carry the team easily than in Silver/Gold.

I hear, ya, but problem is, a lot of times it's a high N7 being the grief 'guard. So they haven't learned their class (or the game) at all.

If it's anyone below N7 100, I'm a lot more forgiving, and then go make coffee/tea for the 1st 5 waves, while the 'guard cleans up everything.

If the enemy aggro is getting all over me, I try to revive even the most useless meatbags to keep the aggro off for a while.

Yes.

If the teammate is a liability to the team there are plenty of reasons to not revive them. For instance, if I am playing AA and some fool decides to break my Stasii with a Geth SMG or something equally incapable of getting kills they will go in the bleed out list.

I feel you - though i would like to point out that the Geth SMG is not at all incapable of getting kills.  I just always see people burst firing it .... like morons.  Gotta treat it like a minigun.... from somewhere (relatively safe) give it time to wind up, and just open up on groups and never let go of the trigger.... with a lvl 5 thermal clip and lvl 5 heat sink that thing never empties the clip. add to that the right ammo for the enemy and you can sling death.  but yes... breaking the stasis with it might be bad (unless you're just going to train the thing on that enemy and siphon off all their health before they can stand back up)

I'll save people if I can get to them. The only time I won't is if people go charging off on their own to the other side of the map. Stick with the team and you always have back up close to hand.

I'll always try to revive if I can. The only times I will ignore someone is if it's not safe to get to them (though I may try to take down some enemies and see if I can get to them in time) or if the wave is about to end anyway.

I'll revive them all the time.

Doesn't matter if they suck. A meatshield is still a meatshield, and by letting them unecessarily bleed out you're gimping the team.

If they're that horrible, I'll just get them replaced after the match.

I will not revive teammates if it's not beneficial for the team.

But out of spite or their stupidity? No. We were all noobs once. I see not motive to hold it against them.

I'll almost always try to revive people, unless they don't help with objectives or revive others when they could easily. Occasionally I'll also ignore people who are extremely stupid and don't learn from their mistakes, but I usually give them several chances (more than I should as trying to revive them often gets/nearly gets me killed in the process).

Usually it ends up being infiltrators that I ignore. I'm amazed at how many infiltrators I run across that will just camp in the same spot, ignoring objectives and dead team mates like they couldn't give less of a **** about what was happening around them as long as they are getting head-shots.

The only time where i let people bleed out on purpose is if they refuse to enter the hacking area (meaning die somewhere far off, when the hack has been going on for a while, if they die on their way there, I'll try to get to them).

Obviously sometimes i cannot reach Rambo players, but once the game has started your pretty much stuck with them anyway... I'd rather have a Vanguard drawing aggro for 30 seconds than no 4th at all :P

Do you ever let your teammate bleed out when you know you could safely revive them?

Earlier today, I was on my infiltrator when a 'cap four objectives' Wave hit. On the first Cap, a soldier tagged along. I asked him to not stand next to me and instead he opened fire on a brute, causing it to charge right at us. Objective four was right in the middle of a fight. I decided to take down a ravager before I start and the soldier runs right into the middle of the fight to cap the objective and dies. After I kill the ravager and revive him, I crouch down while my cloak CDs and he starts capturing it again.

This time I cloak and start capturing it as well. Unsurprisingly, he dies, and after I finish with the objective, I just let him bleed out.

I feel bad about this, but I'd captured the previous objectives and told him that I'd get these ones. And trying to capture something after you've already died once capturing it seems really stupid.

I'd say you made the right call. It's not like you didn't give him plenty of chances.
