I wrote one a little while back called "A Longer Haul" that's mShep/Kaidan, pre-EC and fills in some of the ME3 'space' with relationship development for the first 3rd, then the next two parts set Kaidan and the Normandy crew off on a long-shot search for a way to resurrect Shepard post-Synthesis.  Reviews were kind enough and I enjoyed writing it enough that I'm chipping away at a sequel now.

I have two ongoing fics:

Dark Space: A Sick Fic - T, psych/hurt/AU, medium (short chapters, but lots of them planned), ongoing.
Having made his choice on the Crucible, Shepard loses consciousness... and wakes up in a hospital on Earth, in 2012, ostensibly from a five-year-long coma after an electrocution that left some curious scars on his face and messed up his brain. And it only gets worse when he realizes that everyone in the hospital is someone he recognizes, both patients and staff. Did he dream it all? Or is he caught in some sort of simulation?

Keeping the LI hidden from the reader is kind of a plot point, sorry. The intent is to make it have as many endings as humanly possible. Considering I've already written 20 (yes, I'm keeping score) alternative endings to ME3, I think it won't be an issue.
The purpose was to provide a look at the mess that Shepard's head (and everything else) is, and also what a genre-savvy Shepard with a handful of common sense would be, as opposed to the predominantly bumbling genre-blind idiot he was painted as in ME3's autodialogue and cutscenes; additionally - to explore a possible opinion he may have of his squadmates for a given biography.

General Protection Fault: A Synthesis Fic - M, sci-fi/thought experiment/social, long (novel-length, if I can survive that long), ongoing.
Synthesis has come and gone, leaving everyone in a state of confusion, both morally and biologically. It's time to pick up the pieces - of the United Fleet, of the remains of London, of the Citadel. While doctors and scientists all around the galaxy try to make heads or tails of our new synthetic biology and the Geth revel in their newfound evolution, there are, of course, unfortunate consequences to be dealt with... like multiple people claiming to be Commander Shepard popping up all over the globe.

Intended as a medical procedural centering on a made-up hospital in London, with glimpses into post-game lives of all the characters in the games, with Chakwas and Daro'Xen having lead status along with a Geth OC and a couple of hospital staffers. Shepard's LI is irrelevant to the plot (and is currently undecided). Working off a mix of pre-EC and post-EC Synthesis, with Normandy stranded, but husks regaining sentience and self-awareness.

What if Shepard didn't charge in blindly at the London Conduit? What if he had been preparing for the worst since day one?

Based off the EC endings, one of my many attempts at writing out a Successful Refusal, that elusive holy grail of Golden Endings. Based on the deleted post-Rannoch Daro'Xen questline, taking it to its logical conclusion (which was probably WHY it was deleted in the first place).

I found this while I was digging around for ME novelizations.

It's a novelization of the first game, but the author said he plans on doing the whole trilogy.

It seems promising enough. I liked how the author started at the very beginning, fleshing out the meeting between Anderson, Hackett, and Udina, whereas others tend to start much later, like at Eden Prime or even the Citadel.

There's only two chapters up now, but the second one is mostly from Jenkins' perspective, something I rarely see in Mass Effect fanfiction. It's kind of funny, too, to be honest.

It's not fantastic, not "Shell of Heroism" level of good, but it's a lot better than I expected considering the author just wrote smut up until now. I recommend a checking it out.
