This story so far follows FemShep and Tali before they meet in ME 1.  Tali's life on the flotila and Shepard growing up and joining the Alliance.  It is really well written and flows nicely.  I suggest reading and following this story as I think it will shape up to be a great story.

It seems neither of those possibilities are going to happen. I've previously pointed out that it would be nice if someone would take charge of making a new list that can incorporate the new additions, but it gets drowned out by people adding more stories that ultimately won't make it to the actual list on page 1. I'm not that big on fanfics myself, so it's not like it hurts me in any way, but I know that people spend a lot of time on writing these (sometimes, at least), so it's really a shame that we've got a sticky thread leading people to believe it's being maintained, when the moderators have banned the one who was able to (and had the motivation and time to) update the list.

At least people can go throw the following pages and look at the individual posts there if they ever exhaust the list on the first page - although that seems impossible

I kinda debated throwing my work up here given the poor OP apparently got banned.  Much sadness on that!  Plus, I'm a bit nervous about doing so.  What if you all hate it?  Hehe.

But, I am gonna do it.

Anyway, I'm writing something between a retelling and a reimagination of ME2 and 3.  1 is going to be told in flashback or simply referred to when necessary.  The original idea began when I began to think of Shepard as a little larger then life, and I wanted to sort of split him/her into two characters.  The result has kind of come to define the idea.  I decided to keep standard Sheploo as largely intact.  He's the military man, the leader out-in-front type, and charasmatic.  The other character, who narrates the story in first person, is Amy Costigan.  She's a more reluctant character, and one who is both there to really humanize the Normandy crew's struggle as well as add her own problems into the mess.

I'm trying not to change everything, but I am doing several other things too.  One is making the Council politically competent.  I hated the way they were portrayed in the games.  Another is setting up to be the big player they were in ME3.  Making them a little more popular on the fringes of Alliance territory and giving them some political sympathizers from the colonies in the Alliance Parliament are the two ways I'm going about it.  The Alliance part actually factors in immediately into the story.

I've been considering taking over this list myself, putting up a new one and transferring everything over, but I'm not sure who I would talk to about getting the new list stickied and whatnot. It's definitely a shame to see the list going without updates, since I thought it was such a great idea when I first saw it. But I'm still hesitant because I'm not positive I could keep up with updating it regularly...

Does anyone know who the moderator for the fan creations forum is, just in case I do decide to give it a shot?
