Recently, I completed and uploaded to my Smashwords account my fan novel, EndShard. Please see:
"EndShard - A Mass Effect Fan Novel"
EndShard has been a labor of love for me, and consumed a year of my life after I completed my first playthrough of ME3.
EndShard follows Karen Shepard in a reimagined ending to the Mass Effect trilogy, based on the Indoctrination Theory. I pull into service many of the characters that were overlooked for ME3, and its core principal is teamwork. I wanted to portray just how impossible it would be for Shepard to accomplish anything without her team.
For those who like to know about such things, there is an overarching romance in the story with Garrus Vakarian. At many points, he is central to the story and epilogues.
I would rate EndShard mature, primarily for adult language, violence, and gore. There are some mild romantic scenes.
If you read EndShard and like it - please, share it. Pass the word along. It exists for the enjoyment of the fans. If any of the mods on here can get it to to the Bioware F.O.B. for someone to read - be my guest!

Hey guys what do you think about my short story.
It was a Saturday night, a day right after the reaper war.Commander Shepard did it and I was happy to be alive. I called up my wife to see if we could patch things up but it turns out not even a reaper war can save our marriage. I realized it was futile and decided to celebrate with my buddies but all of them where with family. Feeling lonely i made up my mind and called this little number from back in the day. Back when I was a wise guy I would call this little broad up and we would always have a fun night out. I expected as much out from today's journey.
A few minutes later I heard a knock from my door and there she was in the tightest black dress you would ever see a broad in. I was amazed but caught my charisma by making a sarcastic comment. I spoke and said "Brenda, i haven't even said anything and you are walking on all fours?" She just smiled and I was worried that i looked corny rather than smooth and charismatic. It's hard to tell Brenda's body language and in all honesty she is a bit slow. I decided to put on a movie and prepared some popcorn. Brenda and I took a seat and decided to watch it for a bit.
30 minutes in Brenda touches my left hip. I knew this was the reason why she was here so i wasted no time. I moved in and we started kissing on the couch and I looked her straight in the eye as she did. I was a bit worried that my wife would find out but that did not matter to me. I was living in the moment.I decided to take it a step further and i unbuttoned Brenda's bra strap. I then played with those gracious objects on her chest. Brenda whispered in my ear and said "foreplay if done right is always the best part." That got me so excited and I ripped all her clothes off and decided to go the whole way.
We went at it like rabbits for a an hour or so and it was like the best 1 hour of my life. It was like the purest form of ecstasy I have ever encountered. I could not let anyone know such a thing is happening. How do i tell my friends or wife that i just cheated on her with an elcor? At this moment I felt disgust. Brenda was rubbing my back and asked me if "she was bad?" I assured her she did not do anything wrong and I will take responsibility for this. They say in space your fetishes are amplified, the funny thing was all I wanted was a bit of love.

Well, I suppose I can add mine to the pot. They're technically one-shots, but are actually part of a greater series I'm working on that focuses on the inherent paradox of the adaptive moral dichotomy that Paragade Shepard adheres to.
Pairing is FemShepxGarrus, because win. Shepard is left non-descript for your convenience
Unfocused: A suicide mission has a way of making one introspective of their entire existence. As the trip beyond the Omega-4 relay draws near, Shepard is forced to come to terms with her feelings for Garrus, along with everything else. (Romance/Humor, T Rated.)

Edit: Just out of curiosity, has the writers for Mass Effect ever created "fanfic"? (as in stories of their own that takes things in a different direction than in the games or wasnt made "canon")

Well, I've been hesitant to plug my current projection but have started to reach a point where if I don't get any readers soon then I may lose motivation to continue. Not being a follower of any writing groups or a reader of fanfiction in general, I don't really now how to put my story "out there". Basically, I started with a blog here on the BSN and that quickly turned into the wrong format so a friend of mine pointed me towards AO3 and I found their system a bit more to my liking.
Basically, these are ideas that have been floating around since finishing ME3 last year but didn't feel motivated to write down until completing the Citadel DLC, closing the book for Shepard and starting a new book for someone else As you can tell, I'm super shy about sharing this, mostly because it's in-progress and it hasn't hit the refining process yet. There is a set outline and I am doing a daily minimum of 1k words to keep it going. What I'd like to get now is some feedback and advice from those who do this sort of writing on a regular basis.
Right, well enough of the hesitation, this is what I've got so far:
Title: All That We Are
Characters: Original cast (mostly turians)
Genre: Action-Adventiure with a hint of mystery, drama, and some sort of romance here or there
Setting: A few months before ME3 begins then continuing into the Reaper War, locations include Omega, Invictus, and Palaven
Word count: 63k
Synopsis: "An old turian sergeant is given a second chance to do all the things heonce took for granted but just as his life takes a new direction, war threatens the entire galaxy including the homeworld of his people. He must figure out what he stands for and find the courage to fight for the ones he loves against a foe that will show no mercy."
