Does anyone know what (if any) side quests are completed if the genesis is used to create a new character?

According to the wiki it's none of them, and on top of that it says Genesis doesn't offer you any of the choices regarding the plot mission on Feros either.

doesnt genesis also force you into newgame status and prevent you from accessing certain dialogue choices even if you import a shepard? (actually turned off genesis for this reason, and the fact that turian and krogan artwork in the comic is really not great)
