Is there any incentive to use 20gigs of space on my PC or should I just get it on 360?
Thanks!

Mods are on PC. Better interface on PC.

This is coming from an Xbox user who has a friend with DA for PC.

That said, I am happy with the Xbox version (for now).

You're kidding, right? If your PC is a decent gaming machine then it will beat xbox in nearly every way.

Better controls, graphics, mods, performance, and then some.

This has been covered so much I feel like I should have a cut'n'paste for it.  No doubt I will forget some things.

PC advantages:

Better graphics.
Far better controls
More quickslots.
More camera angles and control.
More enemies on screen at a time/bigger fights
Ability to directly control summoned creatures.
Quicker patch releases
Access to user mods and the toolset
More achievements (if that is your thing)

Xbox advantages:
....?

PC version plays much better by all accounts, and the graphics are far superior (assuming you have the necessary hardware). Also, Community created mods can only be used on the PC Version. So all signs point to PC.

If your PC can handle the game, then I don't see why you shouldn't get it for PC.

To add to Sloth's list,

PC version is cheaper.

Friends don't let friends buy consoles. When all is said and done, a good PC game's player added mods provide far more entertainment value than a stagnant console game.

If your PC can run it mid to high settings I'd get the PC version.

And no there's nothing wrong with consoles or console games *sighs* why do people keeping bringing up this in debate I'll never know.

"Oh noes! The consumer would rather trade performance for ease and realiability! Darn them to the fiery abyss!"

Still the same answer. Get it for PC if you can reasonably do so.

Next.

If you have a PC that can run the game, get the PC version.

With that said, the 360 version is still great.

Nearly? There is not a single thing in the xbox that is better from the PC version.

While there are some games to get for the Xbox rather than PC (eg. Modern Warfare 2), this is definitely not one of those games.

Well there is ONE thing the X-Box does better than the PC..... getting pooched by MS for having a modded machine. I have seen a LOT of people who bought a used X-Box and were very surprized to find out it had been modded, only after  MS threw down the hammer.

I'm going to disagree with your choice there.  FPS games are always better on PC.  Mouse+keboard gives you far better control than a controller does.

The only games I prefer on a consoe are fighting games and sports games.

I don't see why theres a debate between the PC and xbox... Naturally theres going to be more on the PC. Both versions are great!

I would whole heartidly reccommend the XBox version, regardless of the capacity of the computer. My PC is more than capable of running this game, three times over, and I opted for the xbox version and haven't regretted my decision in any way...

I have it on the 360 and the reason is my pc can't run it. It is not in the realm of possibility that I will be able to get a new pc soon and I don't want to wait 4 years to play this game.

Yes mods are great, yes I loved NWN with mods, but that doesn't make the console version bad, it just makes pc version better. Big difference.

Why do you recommend the xbox version?  What advantages does it have?

Both versions are good (although they play quite differently) and nobody here has claimed that the Xbox version sucks or anything like that, but I am curious as to why you think it is BETTER.

Thanks!

You can buy a 1TB drive for around $90 right now... are you really that hard up for disk space?

I'll answer that for him. "I can sit on my couch and play."

That's the generic console defense. Oddly enough I've sat my ass at my computer desk for 8 hours at a time without feeling the slightest discomfort.

To be fair, Modern Warfare 2 is a pretty ****ty FPS that was basically a console port anyway, to the point where it's the worst PC FPS ever made.

Though people still play it out of some sort of hype train.

Actually, there is one argument in favour of the 360. If you're such a casual gamer that you would find Easy PC mode too hard, then the console version is the one for you.

Because I prefer console games over computers, I prefer my recliner to my desk chair, I prefer my 67 inch hidef TV to my computer monitor... And don't give me any crap about hooking the PC up to the TV, it would require moving all my computer stuff into the living room, which isn't feasible, and then finally because my PC is for other things other than games, specifically movie editing, software development, accounting, etc...

And I'm way more coordinated with a controller over a keyboard and mouse.

I am an old dog set in my ways, and there is no argument one can offer me to change my mind.   prefer the console.
