Which of these fictional monster slayers would you rather be?

Image IPB

Grey Warden - An ancient order of warriors whose sole purpose is to fight the Darkspawn. Only the best join the order (if they survive the Joining), and they enjoy respect and admiration of both noble and common folk alike. Too bad they tend to croak after 30 years or so because of the Darkspawn taint in them. But at least they can go out with a bang when they face off against the Darkspawn in one final battle.

Witcher - An order of warrior monks and monster slayers. Witchers are taken at a young age and experimented on to give them superhuman abilities. They're then trained in combat and in the use of magic called Signs, which makes them more than a match for the horrors they face regularly. Despite this, witchers are treated as outcasts by many folk and are rarely welcome unless theres a monster that needs killing.

Not a fan of the taint, so I'd say Witcher. As a female, though. Image IPB

Well I'ld say a Witcher As I don't go insane or Die. Most people suck and I don't hang around many so, I'ld be trading pretty much nothing. Just getting a sword , powers lawful rights to kill people.

Hmm. Witcher i become sterile but i get badass eyes, longer lifespan and the many health benefits but i would be an outcast to Human society and seen as a mutant.

Grey Warden i lose family, i think i become sterile, no health benefits as i know off, would go insane at the end, short lifespan and seen as a traitor.

Witcher it is. Purely for the health benefits and wolf eyes. I pretty much work alone so an outcast does not bother me.

Witcher here. Tempted to choose Grey Warden, but their culture doesn't fit my personality.

How does becoming a Grey Warden make you a traitor?

Actually, you could live a full life prior to becoming a Grey Warden. But being a Witcher is limiting from the get-go.

It's a tough choice, but as I don't like the perspective of not being able to have kids and genetic mutations (you do know they're more probable to go wrong, right?), I'd choose a post-36-yer-old Grey Warden. Probably...

Soooo, either I choose between getting venom in my veins (Grey Warden) or I get experimented on like a lab rat (Witcher)...

Nah, I'll go with Dovahkiin. :)

Off the record: I am the terror that flaps in the night, I am the jailer who throws away the key. I am the surprise in your cereal. I am... Dark-wing Duck

Oh, and uhm... Grey Warden I guess? ;)

The entire plot of Origins. Grey Wardens were seen and branded as traitors.

How could you live past 30 without going insane? If that case, i would become a Grey Warden, not having kids is bad.

That was just one freak incident perpetuated by Loghain. Grey Wardens by and large are considered heroes in Ferelden and beyond. Sure they got some negative press in Origins, but not enough to sully them in the eyes of many.

I prefer being a witcher.

We all know how Dragon Age will end eventually. You and Alistair will die from the taint and Anora becomes the Queen of Ferelden again.

I'm going to go with witcher here. Being a Grey Warden doesn't seem to have much of a positive to it at all.
