Aside from being sterile (and male only, but that ties up with female GW potentially becoming broodmothers), Witcher beats non mage GW in everything else. Night vision, reflexes, longer lifespan, Jedi like powers... If you don´t care about most of the common folk hating you Witcher is the way to go.
On the other side I´d rather live on Thedas than on Geralt´s world. The occasional Blight and abomination is little compared to abundant monsters, power struggles and progroms.

Witcher! The are immune for every disease out there, they can become older then normal people and they have a very high "stamina"

Considering we know what's in store for a GW (provided they live that long), I'd rather be a witcher. And if the local villagers gave me any trouble, I'd just be "forced" to slay them.
