1.  I think you're forgetting about the Batarian home world.

Fine. The first tactically significant world they conquered, then.

2.  This was refferenced before.  You need a brain in order to have a mind.  We learned this at the Cerberus base.  Shepard's brain was vaporised along with the rest of her body.

What is this thing you keep referencing in the Cerberus base exactly which seems to be offering a definition of the human mind and the nature of consciousness? I think I would've remembered Mass Effect 3 answering those fundamental questions, somehow.

How much you got?

  - Arrival.
  - ME3.

Take away the asteroid, and choose the control ending, and they look the same.

So, take away what happened in the ending of Arrival, and pick one specific option to end the game, and they look similar? Should I take away the fact that even in the Control ending, the Relay shoots a beam of energy before it crumbles too?

alot of you deny the IT yet never seem to be able to fill the gaps that IT fills truth is the IT is the only thing that brings any sense to an ending that without indoctricnation has more holes than i care to mention

im open minded i belive in the IT because it seems to have to many clues to be ignored many Look like they were placed there for us to see by bioware

if its not true fine i can go with that but can you explain the holes in the ending in a better more sensical way that the IT does

LETS HEAR IT

NO RESPONSES SUCH AS the exteded cut proves IT incorrect cos it proves nothing of the sort

the list of evidence to support the IT is massive and to deny all of them is silly . oily shadow dreams. sheperd having same eyes has saren and tim following control ending ECT YOU ALL KNOW WHAT im talking about i dont need to list them

You know why the Indoctrination Idea sucks? It punishes you for roleplaying.

Completely agree. Bioware wouldn't punish players for determining the future of the galaxy. Why should players be forced to pick one decision everyone else picked?

The relays kind of just shot a beam and then fell apart. The Arrival was a HUGE supernova explosion. I do not understand how people cannot see the difference between them.

Yah. If you look closely when the relay discharges the beam, the "core" of the relay is visibly left empty and discharged, when the arrival relay shatters, the casing comes off and the swirly energy thing expands into an explosion.

I still think that the devs should've thought harder about that scene though; considering the length they went to to teach us "mass relay explosion = BAD" in arrival, and then they blow up a bunch've relays using only a tiny, easily missed visual cue to suggest it wasn't the same thing.

It's pretty easy to see why virtually everyone thought "hold on, did we just blow up the galaxy?"

firs thing i never claimed IT was GOOD i only asked for some explination other than IT . after having time to digest some of the posts here one thing still really bothers me the TIM controlling SHEP ....the explination given by some of you was TIM has some super advanced reaper tech that lets him take direct control of sheperd but this makes NO SENSE

let me explain
so TIM can control organics like a puppet master then that means the reapers can do this also?!! so really how could there be a ending were we win the war wouldnt the reapers use control us and have us kill each other ect.... ALSO doesnt that make indoctrination POINTLESS....why have none of the reapers we have faced used this ability that TIM SEEMS to use so easly ??? if tim can do then the reapers can if the reapers can then they would never be a war it would be extermination they would not even need to fire at us

this needs explaining to me please cos if im missing something id like to find it
