OK, I guess we can play now. Thanks, slyguy

Why your squad is on the normandy

Easy enough. Normandy's both capable of atmospheric flight and armed with Thanix cannons. These are the sort of ships you'd call in to attack the Reapers over London. After they're driven off the Normandy rescues survivors. Can't do anything more for Shepard since the beam is wrecked.

Why ME1 ever happened if the catalyst is in control

He isn't in direct control. Without the catalyst he can't do anything -- otherwise the blue ending would be the easiest to achieve, and it is not. He only controls the Reapers in the sense that they follow their original programming.

You want plot holes explained?
Bad last minute writing. Once you understand that Bioware just ****ed up and you stop grasping at straws, you will get it.

I'd rather wait for the extended cut that hear all these opinions but the DLC isn't out yet so i have no choice.

I don't beleive anyone's opinions, i'll find out the real ending when the DLC is released.

plot holes:
why does it dismiss our choices

synthesis space magic

Why do paragon and renegade get the same outcomes

Mass relay destruction destroys entire systems, right?

Crew abandons you and somehow manages to get picked up

Additions to the crucible, why involve the catalyst

Those are a few.

I wondered about that one, too!

And I swear I'll step on a kitten's tail if someone says that's more proof of IT...  :pinched:

What..? The Catalyst isn't in direct control of the Catalyst?
I'm going on a limb and assuming his question was more "Why does ME1 happen when the creator of everything Reaper has been on the Citadel the whole time, why didn't he just open the relay himself?"

Those are all assumptions.
Why the heck do the crew members seem to not care about it.

He says that he controls them, not that he gave them some guidelines.

Latin script: There so the player can make sense of what is written on the wall.

That sort of thing has been around since Mass Effect 1. If you want an in universe explanation, it is probably written in the default trade language of the Citadel that all the full and associate members of the Citadel speak. The player just sees it in Latin script so that it is understandable.

Likewise Shepard most likely isn't speaking Enlish, but rather that same default alien trade language of the Citadel. We just hear it in English for the same reason that we hear Romans speaking English in Gladiator.

The Keepers love the aesthetic. Before humans came around, the chambers were covered in Asari still lifes.

The reality is far too horrible to contemplate!!

However terrifying, it's entirely possible that we've actually been wasting time sitting in front of our computers when we should be out getting some fresh air and sunshine!!   God, say it isn't so!!!

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY???!!!!!!!!!!!

Too bad for you, my EMS was high enough for the "open the window and curtains ending" this morning.

Even if the IT is true that simply means we didn't get an actual ending.

No ending or terrible ending?
Bioware knows how to deliver.

You can't fill in plotholes then assume that the IT is correct.
That's just silly.
They are called plotholes because they are holes/mistakes in the story that won't prove anything.

Just because IT could fill some plotholes, that doesn't mean its true.
I can't explain why there are plotholes because they are plotholes, their not supposed to be explainable.
You are a fool
