Hi Guys,

I must say that the mass effect series is my all time favourite games. i have played the previous two games through more than a few times.

I just want to know, I got the collectors edition mass effect 3 and with my bonus content I got the M55 assault rifle and the n7 hoodie. I have played the game through and then started a second charecter on the first game which i have now played all the way through to me3. my problem is that my second chatacter does not have those bonus content availible.

Can any one help?

You haven't mentioned which platform you're on, but if its PC, the bonus content is a little weird in that it needs to be re-registered when it would have become available i.e. on Normandy, after Priority: Citadel I, not long after Mars. Just log in to Origin and make sure Origin is running in online mode.

Does this need to be done EACH time you start a new game?

It is on PC yes.

I will try that. My origin account was not online. I will see if that makes a difference, I know it downloaded the update before starting the new game

As far as I can tell, yes. I know, its a pain - but at least it only needs to be done once a plythrough.

Yeah, for some reason Origin only actually checks the DLC at the point where it would become active - i.e. once you've done all the prologue missions and got the main quest started. If you're offline at that point it'll fail to detect them - meaning you need to go back online.

Weirdly, it doesn't effect From Ashes.

Once its done you shouldn't need to go back online for the rest of your playthrough.

I'm on PC and have never had this issue (ive imported 2 characters so far, and replayed the game with one of them).

You definitely do need to be online to play with the content, unfortunately.

I had a similar issue last week. I think the issues with the network, which basically broke MP for most people, prevented it from authorizing DLC correctly.

You need to be online to authroise the content. Once its done you can play it offline and tear up cerberus with your Hurricane all you like.

I just got my Pc hooked up to internet again. It is worrking. I have all my bonus content again. Thanks guys
