Petition for Garrus Vakarian m/m romance DLC

It's a huge shame that Garrus wasn't available as a m/m romance for male Shepard, I know there are gaymers who have wanted him as a m/m LI since the first game.
Anyway, there are those of us who would like DLC to be made available to Garrus can be a m/m LI and I would happily pay good money for this DLC
It would be nice to have one alien LI available to MShep players

Garrus isn't gay.Demonique wrote...
Firstly this is a petition for people who are interested in Garrus as a m/m love interest NOT a thread for people to wail "Garrus isnt gay" Garrus being a bi love interest won't affect your game in any way, shape or form so please dont start.

Also, what's the bleedin' point of having a survey with four variants on yes? That's a bloody circlejerk at best and intentionally misleading tripe at worst.

Don't we have already have terrible fanfiction to fill in this gap?

It's a petition to see who's interested in m/m Garrus DLC, people who aren't interested in DLC of a particular type won't end up buying said DLC so what's the point in putting in an option in the poll for people who aren't interested?

I thnik that if there is a romance DLC, its priority shouldn't be garrus. He already have fair content in the game.
Fair content as far as FemShep romance goes, this doesn't have anything to do with FemShep

Don't mean to be a moodspoiler, but I actually think it's nice to have at least *one* exclusive option for a straight FemShep.
Just my opinion. ^^
Not that I necessarily agree with the petition, I just have observed that a lot of "straight femshep" fans are somehow threatened by m/m and do not like to share (as ridiculous as that sounds), and this comment doesn't make it any better.

That tells me that you know your thread fails but won't admit it.

Being bi myself and enjoying roleplaying lesbian, bi and straight FemSheps, I don't exactly call myself a fan of "straight femshep" and I don't feel threatened at all as you put it. But ever since DA2 I've been annoyed with this tendency of making romanceable characters always bi.RinjiRenee wrote...

I dunno, but first, I don't think *everybody* should be bi, it's not the case in real life and yes, I know this is a sci-fi game but that doesn't mean it shouldn't have a few realistic elements. Besides, making everybody bi kills a big element of replayability to me. I'm lazy when it comes to RP guys in RPGs, and the sole reason I created a ManShep in the first place was to be able to check out Ash and Tali's romances. I'm not saying I'm in the majority but I feel exclusive options are a plus to an RPG.
Arcanum was a master in that area (not only about romances but even whole quests).
That's why I left that comment. I apologize if I have offended.

What if someone doesn't want to play a female Shepard? Or someone else doesn't want to play a male Shepard? Does exclusivity really = more options? No, it doesn't. I don't think anyone should have to feel obligated to play a certain character to check out a certain romance, of course this is only an issue with Bioware games. I hope future DA games will continue the DA2 pattern, because inclusivity is ultimately the most economical and most... well. Inclusive.
It doesn't really matter in ME's case because Shepard's story is for all intents and purposes over, so I digress.

Let's be real. It's a game, where you go to space and have sex with make believe aliens. It really shouldn't matter what gender Shepard is, in the grand scheme of things.
I don't play male characters, thus don't need m/m content, and I don't dig on turians. But I would never deny other players content based on "realism" or claiming that a "manly" personality makes a character off limits for an m/m romance.
